My coworkers and I had an amazing experience at Arepas! We stopped by after a long day at work. The food was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection—every bite was a delight. Our server, Mary, made the experience even better with her warm, attentive, and friendly service. She made us feel welcome and ensured everything was perfect throughout our meal. I can’t recommend this place enough, if you’re looking for incredible food and top-notch service, this is the spot!

First time dining here on Valentines. Had the Veg Tostones and Reina Dip for starters. For entrees, we struck with the classic comfort food staples: Pabellon and Bandeja. And ended the meal with the Tres Leches.
Enjoyed everything especially the tostones, dip and shredded beef. Dessert was awesome too.
Mary was our server and she was sweet as one could be given how busy and seemingly understaffed they were. Looking forward to returning again and trying their Arepa sandwiches that I saw multiple tables with.

Second time going here, and I wish they would have more servers on busy nights. We waited a while to get our menu. The reason we didn’t go somewhere else is because we had already walked around Willow Glen and wanted to give this place a second try. The food is ok. I have tasted better arepas, but their “green” sauce was delicious. There was only one server for the whole restaurant and two cooks. The server had a great attitude and apologized.

I often visit Arepas in Willow Glen. The staff is very friendly, and if it’s your first time visiting, you’ll feel relaxed right away.
I love the Venezuelan-style arepas. Not only are they delicious, but there’s also the fun of discovering new flavors depending on the fillings. Be sure to give them a try and enjoy!

My apology to Arepas! I thought I reviewed the restaurant prior, but I must not have. 🙁
I’ll start with the food being delicious! I’ve been a few times now, and it has consistently been fresh and full of flavor!
Everyone who’s gone there with me has really enjoyed their food and appreciates the unique menu items.
The Arepa’s sandwiches are fabulous! We’ve only tried the fried tostones, so I can not review the grilled version, but I’m sure they are yummy too! They have multiple combinations and also have a vegetarian and vegan version.
The aioli the Arepas come with is delicious, and they have a really good green hot sauce as well.
I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you are in a hurry, but if you have time, it’s worth it.

Understaffed, cachapas didn’t have a good amount of Pan or corn. They tasted watered down. Something about the pork arepa was way off. Maybe the oil they used, but not sure.

Came here for lunch on a Friday. (Valentine’s Day) There were a few girlfriends and guy friends meeting up for lunch. We ate off the appetizer section because neither of us wanted to eat a whole arepa alone. This allowed us to sample the chicken, beef, pork and combo (meat & beans). The meat was so tender and well-seasoned and the accompanying sauces were nice. We got our share of protein and crispy/crunchy corn-based dough and plantains. So glad to have explored a cuisine we rarely eat. The server was very friendly, patient with us asking lots of questions about the menu and kind when checking back in with after the dishes were served. The parking was a challenge. We ended up circling behind the business in the small lot and then later found residential street parking a few blocks away.

Everything was very fresh and delicious.
The arepas were great. So were the sampler starter, the arroz dishes and the fresh juices.

Came on a Weds at noon to grab lunch to go. Staff was amicable and was gracious enough to show us photos off their phone to explain their menu (just opened a week ago). It was steadily busy and my order took about 10min to cook and serve in a fancy fabric bag. Overall good vibe and ambiance. They replaced Taco Mania.
