The cafe was amazing with fresh and warm food. Draft beer is a must try! Good selection from the menu although it can be a bit pricey but worth it. The ambiance was so relaxing especially during the fall season. Top it off by friendly service of their staff.

NOT group friendly. I preordered boxed lunches for 42 people using their process and they did not have our order nor enough supplies to feed us.
I had also copied two other employees on the day I emailed the final order, with the group order.
Poor process! Blamed it on, “Our cafe meal is having problems.” Fortunately there is a CFA not too far away who gladly accommodated us by taking our orders and serving the food in under 20 minutes!

Decent for a small Cafe. Don’t count on getting an expansive breakfast menu to choose from. Lunch, and a light Dinner is about the best they have to offer there. Most of the items to choose from are pre made and ready for quick sale. Fortunately you can get them to make you a sandwich if you prefer that over a chilled sandwich in a refrigerated display case. Coffee is available as soon as you walk through the doors to your right hand side. Don’t expect to get anything free here though. They have inside seating and a small outside seating area also. There is a microwave you can use at your convenience.

Better food than anticipated. Bit pricey though. Some things show neglect though. For example, all the carafes of coffee and tea water were warm at best. 30 minutes after being reminded by a customer, the staff still hasn’t refreshed any of the carafes.

Ordered the bacon egg and cheese croissant. It was cold eggs, cold bacon, and a cold slice of pre-sliced cheese. Save yourself time and a lot of money by eating before you come here.

The food was very expensive & not worth the price. I bought a turkey & brie sandwich, it was $14. I also got a small bowl of mac & cheese for over $10. The things here are not worth the price, the sandwich was tough and dry. If you’re planning on going here, I suggest bringing your own food, especially if you are coming with family.

Pretty fantastic place, great job in keeping the theme and vibe of Jeffersonian Virginia. After visiting Monticello this is an appropriate meal with friendly staff.
