Warning this place can create an insatiable craving! With every bite I was thinking of the next, and my only regret is that I didn’t get cheese on the ramen birria. But it’s still delicious regardless! I love the tanginess. Both dishes were served with ample sides of white onion and lime. Super sweet server and the food was still hot by the time we went home and ate it.

I wish I had better things to say. I ordered five pastor (pork) tacos and they were extremely mediocre.
First problem is the size and lack of meat. There’s not even enough meat in the tacos to fill the middle of the already small corn tortillas, Second and most major problem is the LACK OF FLAVOR. Literally nothing had flavor, not the meat, the tortilla, or even the onions! Usually El Pastor is bursting with flavor… I’m talking not even the sauce I got had flavor. just felt that i was eating air. Wish they were better. Pretty okay pricing though.

Love to pick up or order delivery from this place on a Friday or Saturday evening – particularly the quesabirria quesadillas or the birria tacos. Quality is much lower on Sunday early afternoons. Very disappointing. There’s definitely a difference in the way the same item is made. Not sure if there’s a different chef or what but would appreciate more consistency especially with the higher price point of these items.

The Birra Birra was delicious, and the customer service was on point. My daughter put me on to this food truck who drives all the way from Huntsville for these tacos, too. I had a very disappointing experience with El Norteño. My order was made incorrectly, and instead of waiting for it to be remade, I requested a refund. I was told I would receive my money back within a couple of days.
After several days passed with no refund, I contacted my bank, and they confirmed there was no reversal or refund initiated by the restaurant. I then called El Norteño, but the call was disconnected—likely due to a language barrier.
Since I live nearby, I went to the restaurant in person to resolve the issue. The employee called the manager, who told me to contact my bank. I explained that I already had and that the bank instructed me to contact the merchant. The manager then claimed that I had paid in cash, which was completely false.
I showed them the receipt clearly stating payment was made with my bank card, along with my bank statement showing the charge. Despite this proof, they still did not resolve the issue. At this point, it feels like the restaurant simply took my money and refused to take responsibility.
This situation was frustrating and unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I feel it’s important to share this experience so others are aware and can avoid going through the same thing. El Norteño lost a loyal customer who consistently spent good money here.

i got steak tacos today, they were horrible. so nasty, i cant explain it. i did not want to finish them. dont waste your money here. unreal and they give you two kinds of onions (grilled and fresh) instead of onion and cilantro which makes no sense. neither sauce they give you is spicy either.
