I absolutely love Fire Lobster! I eat here about twice a week, and it never disappoints. All the food is fresh and cooked to order every single time. I’ve been following this chef for over 15 years through his last two restaurants, and his dishes are consistently outstanding.

Fire Lobster delivers amazing flavor, quality ingredients, and great service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates fresh seafood made with real passion and skill. This place is truly a gem!

Title: A Seafood Paradise – 5 Stars for the Jamaican Carryout!

Review:
I recently discovered a hidden gem in the form of a Jamaican seafood carryout-only restaurant, and it was an absolute delight. Here’s why I give it a glowing 5-star review:

Atmosphere: The restaurant is carryout-only, with no indoor or outdoor seating available. While this may be a downside for some, I found it to be convenient, especially for a quick and delicious seafood fix.

Food Quality: We had the pleasure of trying several dishes, and each one left a lasting impression. The fried sweet and sour snapper stole the show with its impeccable seasoning and burst of flavors. The well-prepared rice and peas on the side complemented the fish perfectly.

Lobster Sandwich: The lobster sandwich, while not my personal favorite dish, was still a tasty treat. Instead of a traditional sandwich, it resembled a savory lobster cake nestled between buns. While different, it offered a unique twist to traditional seafood fare.

Festivals: The festivals, a popular Jamaican snack made from fried dough, were light, fluffy, and incredibly delicious. They provided a delightful contrast of textures and flavors, making them a delightful accompaniment to the main dishes.

Seafood Soup: The star of the show was undoubtedly the seafood soup. This spicy marvel was expertly seasoned, boasting a rich and complex flavor profile. It tantalized the taste buds with its perfect blend of spices, leaving us craving more. I can’t wait to go back for another comforting bowl of this outstanding soup.

Overall Experience: This Jamaican seafood carryout-only restaurant exceeded my expectations on every level. Despite the absence of seating, the flavors, quality, and variety of dishes completely won me over. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an authentic and delicious seafood experience with a Jamaican twist.

I’m eagerly looking forward to my next visit, not only to savor more of that delectable seafood soup but also to explore their other enticing menu options. This place is truly a seafood paradise.

I am delighted to provide a five-star review for Fire Lobster, an exemplary Jamaican restaurant located in Plantation, Florida. Recently, I had the pleasure of hosting two family members from Jamaica, who thoroughly enjoyed indulging in authentic Jamaican cuisine on a daily basis. I accompanied one of them to Fire Lobster, where we ordered the Blue Lagoon escovitch snapper, which they absolutely adored. In fact, we returned the following day to try ‘The Port Antonio’ snapper, and they were equally impressed. The dish was so exceptional that they even shared it with our other family member, who was initially skeptical but ultimately won over by the flavors.

Notably, upon returning to Jamaica, both family members visited Gloria’s, a popular local restaurant, and inquired about the possibility of preparing fish in a pineapple sauce, similar to what they had enjoyed at Fire Lobster. Unfortunately, they were informed that this option was not currently available. Consequently, they are now eagerly anticipating their next trip to Florida, primarily to revisit Fire Lobster and indulge in more of Chef Rudy’s exceptional snapper dishes.

Personally, I have been a loyal patron of Chef Rudy’s culinary expertise since his tenure at Lobster House, and I can confidently attest that his standards have remained consistently high. One aspect that particularly impresses me is his professionalism and willingness to explain the preparation methods, ingredient selection, and fish choices that underpin his culinary creations. The quality of seafood and poultry served at Fire Lobster is unparalleled, and the fact that each dish is cooked to order ensures that patrons never have to settle for reheated leftovers.

Chef Rudy’s remarkable talent and skill are evident in every aspect of his craft, from the meticulous presentation to the bold flavors that characterize his dishes. This establishment is, without a doubt, a five-star restaurant that rivals the finest eateries I have had the pleasure of visiting in France. Chef Rudy’s innovative approach to Caribbean cuisine is truly unique, and his commitment to curating an original menu that showcases his inventive spirit is admirable. As the French proverb aptly puts it, “Bon appétit, c’est l’amour qui se mange!” (“Good food is love that’s being eaten!”).

I highly recommend Fire Lobster to anyone seeking an exceptional culinary experience. Pictured below are ‘The Port Antonio’ and ‘Caribbean Sea’ dishes. Although I didn’t capture a photo of the ‘Blue Lagoon’ (escovitch snapper), I encourage you to visit Fire Lobster’s Instagram page (@firelobstercarryout) for an array of mouth-watering images and videos that showcase their culinary expertise. Be warned: browsing their page may leave you craving their delicious dishes!

The food is excellent and well worth every penny. The flavors bursting through each dish is on point. We had the run down fish and the port antonio. Rice and peas is as close to authentic as you can get. The real coconut milk blending with scotch bonnet to deliver a nostalgic flavor profile. Now I need to treat my parents and siblings to this place.

Got into town and needed something to eat and I found this place. My Aunt and went there for dinner. It’s not a sit down restaurant, However, the food was awesome. I ordered the Escovich fish with rice and beans. I’m a gravy person but this rice absolutely did not need any gravy. Everything was seasoned really well. We truly enjoyed our meal. I would definitely go back there on my next visit. Nate was great as was the cook.

I had a brown stew snapper as take out on Sunday July 27. Within minutes of eating it, I had to be rushed to a doctor, my mouth and tongue were swollen, my airways were blocked and there was a severe rash in my skin. It seems like there was cross contamination of shellfish with my snapper. That’s very unprofessional and not food safe. I have a shellfish allergy. But I didn’t order shellfish, so why did the snapper give me that reaction. Please look into your food safety procedures. I could’ve died
