We’ve eaten here for their vegan pizza menu, as well as their special vegan menu days. The most recent was great with subs and wraps. The regular pizza is huge if you get the large size. 2 pizzas easily fed four adults and two kids. Highly recommend their vegan options!

I’m looking forward to coming back for comedy or trivia night. I enjoy the vibes of the bar. I got an IPA on draft and I asked about another beer I was curious about and the bartender offered me a sample which I really appreciate. The pizza slices are big, I tried the sausage slice and it was flavorful. Hopefully next time I will try a pizza special slice. The combination they had today was not appealing to me. I’m not a fan of the bathrooms being dirty but it is what it is. The margarita is strong and delicious.

Horrible service! We walked in and tried to order pizza but weren’t able to because of the service (or lack thereof). The blonde lady with glasses working on Sunday night didn’t say hello and told us to stand up from the dirty table so she could clean it but then she never came back to clean it or help us. She then was very clearly ignoring us on purpose, even when we went up to the bar. She purposely avoided eye contact and would literally leave. After 30 minutes of trying to get her attention, we left. Would not recommend. Weird vibes and very bad service!

I swung by today to watch football and it was a great spot! The staff and service were great, the crowd was awesome, and the food was really good. I got the Italian beef and giardiniera pizza and it was so good. Great take on a Chicago classic that’s a must try for anyone visiting the city from out of state like me.

I wish I could write a review about the actual pizza, but our service was not great. Me and a small group of friends went in and sat down at an unclean table as that was the only place to fit us. The server said she would come back to wipe it down. We waited 10 minutes while she helped every other person in there. We decided to wipe off our own table and waited another 10 minutes. We went up and asked if we needed to order at the bar, where the bartender said “mmmhh” and gave me a menu. That would have been nice to know after waiting 20 mins. At that point we were over it and left. The service was truly horrendous

My friends and I came here to watch the Bears game and we ordered pizza and it was sooooooooooo good. I highly recommend getting pizza here but the TV’s were small so not the best but it was fine. The service was good for how busy they were on game night!

I’ll be straight up, I cannot give a fair assessment because this is not my kind of place. I ordered on Too Good To Go and it led me to believe it was just a pizza shop, and my friend and I were floored when we walked in. The staff we spoke with were friendly, the pizza slapped, but we were very uncomfortable the entire time we were inside. Again, that’s because it is NOT my kind of scene. I just need to pay more attention next time.
I’d give a lower score, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault and I don’t want to damage anything advertising you may get from Google because of a crap review.

Dante’s Tavern leaves a lot to be desired. The pizza is average at best—nothing memorable or exciting. Service is practically nonexistent; it feels like you’re on your own with no real attention from the staff. The atmosphere has a grungy vibe, which I’m sure is intentional, but it just doesn’t appeal to me. If you’re into that kind of dive bar setting, it might work for you, but overall, it doesn’t provide the kind of experience I’m looking for.

My first experience was not good, tho. Staff was cool but pizza was bad. Second visit was good. Pizza was pretty decent and staff was cool as usual. I will leave it at 5 stars cause you guys support your immigrant community against ICE and I love you guys for that. Thank you so much!
