Reviews
I went to Pasquale’s Italian Ristorante with my sister, who was visiting Winnipeg from the UK and wanted to try Italian food. The atmosphere was cozy and very clean. Our server, Shelley, was amazing, super kind and welcoming.
The food quality and taste were excellent. My sister had a gluten-free pizza and loved it. Prices felt average to slightly above average, but worth it. The food took a little longer than expected to arrive, but it was definitely worth the wait.
I really enjoyed the experience and will definitely come back!
Foods constantly amazing, deserts are fresh and their drinks are well balanced. Great for pasta lovers, I recommend the Italian margarita and the shrimp pasta they’ve had both times I’ve gone. Service is with a smile and an airy roof top patio makes for great atmosphere. The only thing that we found odd was the water already poured and set on the table we sat at. We couldn’t really tell if they had been left by the previous guests or if they just water all the tables previous? Either way it was slightly off putting and we grabbed new glasses.
We will be back again and again!
Started off with a Cappuccino and We ordered the Ravioli Bolognese which was very good, the sauce has a nice sweet and tart flavour from the tomatoes and the cheese balances everything, Also ordered the Burrata Ala Pistachio pizza and it is a must try for sure! Pesto and arugula brings a herby note while the pistachio cream complements the mozzarella and burrata really well. We also tried their Mussels in sambuco chilli cream which pairs perfectly with the garlic toast.
Highly recommend Pasquale’s and we will definitely be coming back to try their other dishes.
Just doing some napkin math, as a group we paid $900 total for six pizzas (menu price $192), four salads which I would guess were 3x larger than a menu salad ($180), and four pasta dishes, again 3x larger ($258) which adds up to $630.
It really does feel like $270 was overcharged for our group and I would have much preferred ordering off the menu instead of ordering as a group. I would have assumed that as a larger group we would have gotten a better deal since fewer items had to be made, just in larger quantities. The food and service itself were good, but I would not recommend this place for large groups.
