When I come to visit my father from out of town, I make it a point to come here. Wings have always been my comfort food, and I have never had wings like these. They are big, quality pieces of chicken and they are not too pricey. I can’t find anything like this in the big city. They have a large variety on their menu, so if wings are not your forte, they’ve got something for you. Nicole has been our server that past few times, and she hasn’t gotten everything right 100% of the time. She is friendly and attentive, as are the rest of the servers. You’ll see a lot of the same faces here which is welcoming.

this restaurant is one of the best in the Gun Barrel area! before I decided to give this place a try, my parents went several times and it was nothing but good things. I went a couple days ago and got the fried pickles and 10 boneless wings with Honey BBQ and Korean BBQ, and it was amazing. the Korean BBQ tastes like buffalo sauce with a Korean spice, which i loved. my total was less than $25, plus a 15% tip, and i was so surprised with the low price. one of my friends got the onion rings with the salmon bowl and she was so happy that they had vegetarian/vegan options. my other friend got the chips and queso with 10 bone in wings with Cajun and Flaming BBQ. she wasnt a big fan of the Cajun, said it didnt have as big of a Cajun flavor as she expected. our server was the sweetest and she made sure to check on us every 10-15 minutes. I will definitely be making another trip to try more food!!!! EDIT! made it to another trip!!! this time i got the Creamy Tuscan Penne Pasta with Shrimp, the Thai Firecracker Shrimp, and the Funnel Cake Fries and it was SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!

Wings Over Gun Barrel City is one of our favorite places to eat. We always ask for Nicole because she gives the absolute best service every single time. The food is amazing, and you can really tell it’s made from scratch. My personal favorite is the pizza — it’s so good and unlike anywhere else. My daughter loves the cheese logs with marinara. We always leave happy and looking forward to the next visit!

We got 4 different wing combos it took forever for the food to come out while at least 8 employees stood around playing.
When the food finally made it to the table it was all cold except for the fries. The boneless wings were cold inside and out and hard as a rock. The bone in wings were semicold and soft. The place has flies and has got to be one of the dirtirdt places we’ve ever eaten at. Not busy at all only 1 family of 4 a couple and 1 guy at. the bar so its not like 1 of the 8 or more employees didn’t have time to clean. They are just lazy and would rather stand behind the counter or just inside the kitchen door playing and gossiping.. by the way this definitely wasn’t worth the $90.00 we had to pay. I do not recommend this place at all. Go to seagoville

I usually get wings but wanted to try something else. The from scratch meal was the best thing I have eaten out in a while. The wings rock, but the Chicken Fried Chicken topped everything for me. Today, 2/24/26, our server was Angelina and she was fantastic. Be sure to ask for her. As usual the food was fantastic. I had wings and onion rings. I also had one of the $14 drinks. It was the Obsidian margarita. It was soooo good that I would love another. But sadly I have to drive so only one is in the cards. I finished the meal with a desert of funnel cake fries!

This was our first visit and we were very impressed! The food was absolutely amazing and great service. We enjoyed sitting outside on a beautiful day and able to watch the Rangers play on the outside TVs. We ordered 3 appetizers – fried pickles which were delicious with perfect pickles thickness, chips and queso which did not disappoint, and the buffalo chicken tots which my husband loved. The chicken bacon ranch sandwich was amazing!! The chicken is very flavorful! Onion rings did not disappoint at all either.

Supremely disappointed!!
I called in a to go order when I left our house in Kemp.
We arrived and tried to pick up through the drive thru (that has an open lane and was lit) like the Kaufman location, clearly they can see us through the window but no one would come even after a short hock of the horn. Assumed the drive thru was only there because they took over the building from LJS. So we went inside.
Immediately I was hesitant. The floor was dirty. The counter hand menus and dirty towels thrown everywhere. We stood for a solid few before anyone even acknowledged we were there.
Finally picked up the order and left.
We I got home. 2 of the 4 orders where wrong.
Ordered bread pudding and they put the ice cream on top of the (hot) pudding on a to go order.
No gravy for a chicken fried steak that they gave us in middle school cafeteria line.
No utensils, after they asked and I said yes please. Fries instead of tots that were ordered…
I called and told the manager, who was very kind and remade the food. Drove from kemp to pick it up and checked it before I left this time.
But the dirty towel was still in the exact same spot when I came back an hour later.
All in all, disappointed is an understatement

We had the firecracker shrimp as an entree and the all American cheeseburger for lunch. Both were very good but disappointed they did not have a lunch menu with a smaller burger. With ice tea and tip we spent more than $40 which seems steep for lunch. We have been to several Wing Over locations and prefer the set up at Wings Over Kaufman that has lunch specials and you order at the counter instead of table service. While food was good, we will visit other restaurants nearby that have lunch and food specials.
