I took my sister to dinner at Ferdi for her birthday and it was wonderful. From the minute you walk in the door and are welcomed in it feels like home. Cozy, warm and welcoming! And then the food .. we split two apps – bruschetta and arancini – both delicious. My entree was the veal martini that was cooked to perfection on a bed or asparagus and with a potato croquet. Ate every last morsel of it! So tasty! My sis had the branzino and enjoyed it as well. Favorite new cocktail – Italian 75. Yum!! Our waiter was awesome, and the Chef/Owner came out to welcome each table. It’s those “little things” that make a huge impact and pretty much guarantee that we’ll be back again soon! Ferdi was fabulous!!

I had a wonderful experience at Ferdi! The food was truly delicious – flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was satisfying and well-prepared. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely nice throughout the entire visit. I had my bridal shower at Ferdi and it was amazing! The staff/owners/family at Ferdi know how to customize and make any celebration feel extra special. We had custom decorations, passed apps, entrees, dessert, champaign, limoncello.The service was top tier and they made the celebration AMAZING. My wife and I have eaten at Ferdi multiple times now, and it has easily become our favorite spot in the entire city. The atmosphere is always awesome and the service is truly top-notch, making us feel welcome every time we walk through the door. While the vibe is great, the food is the real standout—it’s honestly some of the best Italian you can find in all five boroughs. We especially love the Chicken and Veal Sofia because it’s so unique and delicious, and it’s one of the main reasons we keep coming back. If you’re looking for a perfect meal in NYC, you definitely need to check this place out.

The service, food and atmosphere are very important to me when dining out. Ferdi met and exceeded mine, which is to be commended. I usually shop/dine based on reviews and I am writing this to help others make the right dining choice. The calamari was seasoned correctly with the appropriate amount of crispy texture and not soggy. The Balsamic tuna steak was a generous portion which was cooked to perfection , complimented with just enough fresh vegetables. For desert, I selected the ricotta cheesecake, two pieces as a matter of fact that I took him to eat. I will return and bring friends to sample more of what Ferdi had to offer!

What a wonderful place! I was delighted to eat at Ferdi twice in two weeks, both times with large parties: the food is absolutely wonderful, the restaurant very clean and pleasant, and the prices reasonable; the staff went far above and beyond to accommodate us all — they truly couldn’t have been more gracious, efficient, and thoughtful. (Serving 14 people at one table with separate checks is extremely hard; they made it look easy!) We will definitely come back, and it’s the perfect place to go before or after the Greenwich House Theater, two blocks away. Highly rated and recommended! ❤️
