Our server was attentive and made great suggestions. We had patron margaritas and they were delicious and just right. The calamari was cooked perfectly and the seafood boil was great leftover two days later! The fried oysters were pretty good too and that’s not even really my thing. Love the atmosphere and decor and was a nice family night, nice and laid back and was enjoyable for my 9 year old son. We had a great time and will definitely be back. Worth the $$!

This place was magnificent. We were visiting from FL and decided to stop here before getting back on the road. Tasted the seafood boil, catfish, chicken tenders, chicken wings, bread sticks and fries and everything was cooked to perfection. The hostess and our server Adriana was extremely nice and welcoming. Even the manager was very nice. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone. Thank you.

Seafood boil let you pick what meats and what seasoning you want as well as spice level. Everything was cooked great, huge shrimp and even bigger mussels. Waiter was extremely nice and kept checking on us but wasn’t over bearing at all. Great experience all around. Definitely coming for more soon!

I am having trouble putting into words how good the food, service, ambiance, and this is nearly impossible to find in 2025!!!!
My father ordered the Shrimp Basket. It looked like a Picture you’d use to advertise the restaurant! They were Jumbo and so Tasty!!!
We did a Snow Crab Cluster in Garlic Butter- this was THE STUFF. We dipped EVERYTHING in it, and one or two of us might have licked our fingers!!
For my Entrée I got a 1/2 lb of Hottest Level of Head-Off Shrimp. The corn tasted like it was pulled from a fresh garden this morning. This isn’t frozen corn!!!! It was PERFECT!!!! The Potatoes were so tender, flavorful, and fresh.
We had no room for dessert, but as huge New Orleans Fans, and many, many, many meals there, I have to say this topped any NOLA cuisine I’ve had before!!!!!
They are very busy. We went on a Tuesday and waited a bit, but don’t get discouraged, it’s worth the wait. You’ll be sooooooo glad you did.

Great little joint with good food and spices. Garlic butter was “ok” but Cajun seasoning was on point!
I’m still skeptical of “weight” of servings but all places like this seem light. Regardless it’s good for the price.

The atmosphere at this Hook and Reel is so nice and you get greeted by Jack Sparrow! The dining area is very clean and has a cool ocean decor. You can tell the owner put a lot of love into this restaurant. Our hungry group didn’t have to wait long for the food to arrive. The seafood was cooked just right. We had the hook and reel and lemon pepper sauce. I LOVED it. It was not too light or salty, it was just right.

Food was great. Fries really good. Service wonderful. Pretty cool decor on the inside. Bathrooms are pretty much like most. Can never be too clean. Love that we can draw on the table paper. That was fun with the kids. Bring pens for adults because we can have fun as well!! Our server even ran outside in the cold to bring us a phone that one of left behind. We will go back again. Prices are fair.

I had a lovely experience eating dinner at this restaurant. The portions were awesome. I could not eat it all and had leftovers. My server Jo was fantastic and very attentive. I appreciated that. She walked me through the menu and gave suggestions that I chose. The food was very flavorful as well. Seasoning was great. I would eat here again.
