Me and my boyfriend traveled 2 hours to try fufu and egusi for the first time. We got the fufu and egusi and jollaf rice and chicken. We ordered online and it was ready on time, even early. She was sooo nice and friendly. The food is SOOOO good. The best food ever. We will definitely be back when we come to Louisville. Surprised this place isn’t packed. 10000/10

This is a great place to go for delicious Family style eating. We were surprised at the large portions. Clarice is a friendly fabulous cook.
Dinner was topped off with some fried lightly sweet donuts. Reminded me of the Bollas I had in South Africa.
Atmosphere :For me, the music was too loud and the flickering lights seemed to be in time with the beat of the base.

Wow ! This was my first time have Liberian food and won’t be my fast as long as Clarice Kitchen is still open ! I had the Attieke with chicken, the food was fresh and hot. The chicken was seasoned/cooked to perfection, and the Attieke was a nice refresher with the cucumber and tomatoes(it did come with a grain similar to quinoa, still amazing). The portions, you can feed two to three honestly or meal prep it(I’m not mad at it). That pepper sauce! HAAA, if you’re a fan of heat move forward(others ehh maybe not for you). Also had the Ginger Juice, taste like it was freshly juiced(if you’re a ginger lover, get it). All in all, Miss Clarice will see my face again and the whole menu will be experienced by me.

If there were a way to give Mrs. Clarice more stars, I’d do it in a heartbeat. From the moment I first came, Egusi was my favorite soup—until she lovingly convinced me to try Palava . Now I’m truly torn between the two.
She is incredibly sweet, warm, and welcoming—a true pillar of the community. I would drive 1,000+ miles just to experience these beautiful, soul-filled dishes again.
Please check her out and support her. She deserves all the happiness and prosperity her heart and hands can receive. Ps: I’ll be back soon for my Palava soup

Wow! My friend and I found this lovely place through google searches to try the fufu and egusi – and Clarice did NOT disappoint! She was so kind and sweet with us, checking in on us as we ate and even giving us tidbits to help us try the food or manage the heat if needed. The food was, I’m not kidding, DIVINE! It felt like a warm hug as my friend said, and the flavors were amazing. We only stopped eating by sheer will it was so good – but hey, we have leftovers! Clarice you are awesome and we definitely will be back!

Food was great, V E R Y large portions. You will be taking some home. Ordered the Joloff rice with chicken. For the price it was good. My only issue was the wait. If you are going here please call ahead, reserve about 30mins before you arrive as the food is made at the time of the order. If you have limited time for your lunch break, please take this into consideration.
My experience: arrived 12:17pm, ordered 12:32pm, food served 13:23pm. Only one young lady working her butt off in there.
