I ordered the large sesame chicken with shrimp fried rice and this was by far the worst combo Ive had in a long time.
The rice had a distinct burnt taste to it, like it was made in the same pot as burning rice. And this isnt something im particularly upset about but will note, I ordered the shrimp fried rice, paid 2 dollars extra for it, just for like 5-10 shrimps to be put in the top of my box of rice, and the remaining box of regular fried rice…to taste like burnt rice of course.
as for the sesame chicken, it had a really distinct taste that I can only describe as off putting. it wasn’t inedible but its not something i finished. Taste alone, the combo was inedible.
All that being said I did receive a decent amount of chicken since I got the large. But honestly, I just got a bunch of food that I cannot feasibly eat.
overall, I wont be ordering from Hongs kitchen again. this was quite the experience to say the least.

We ordered wonton soup, boneless spare ribs, general tso chicken combo, house lo mein, Philly egg rolls, and pork egg rolls. EVERYTHING WAS BAD . Spare ribs were dried out. General tso tastes microwaved and bland. Wonton soup was bland. This was really bad. Idk why this is rated 4.4 stars in UberEats. The worst food.
The dumplings and rangoons were good with the sauce that came with it.

The General Tso chicken combo with fried rice was really good. It also came with wonton soap and an egg roll so it was really filling. Everything tasted fresh and flavourful. I just wish the chicken was more crispy. Definitely would order there again and try something new. My order was on DoorDash.

Wonton soup = mop water with a few dumblings floating around that were terrible.
Lomein= mush noodles..gross..absolutely horendous
General sous= dry chicken nuggets flavored with strange spicy sauce..and microwave instant rice..
Pork eggrolls= MEH, exterior was rogh n extra chewy and grey pork inside..yuck
Philly egg rolls= dry beef in a overly fried eggroll wrapper..dont even bother.

I had an order of chicken wings and 2 shrimp rolls which came up to $20….the fried wings were disgustingly dry n plain no salt no seasoning….definitely not Chinese chicken wings. They were just plain nasty. And the shrimp rolls were not worth $7….sorry if you’re hungry eat cereal and pass on this place. It’s open late for nothing. And since when chicken wings come with salad?!?!?!

I ordered on Ubereats, my delivery was great and the food tastes good but when I called the restaurant trying to change the rice on my order the lady that answered the phone was extremely rude and not willing to help at all. She told me it was already made but of course the restaurant always has the white rice already made it could have easily been switched out for fried rice. I ordered the black pepper chicken dinner combo, it came with chicken and corn soup which that is the only thing that’s not good.

Ordered general tso chicken, it’s wasn’t what I ordered since I got it delivered. The chicken tasted microwaved and bland. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again. Read the reviews before you door dash.

I ordered takeout from Kong’s Kitchen. They said it would be 10 min… It turned into 35min. Then 2 days later they updated the amount of my transaction by adding an $8 tip that I didn’t authorize. So they stole a 32% gratuity when the service was horrible & the food wasn’t good either. After eating it I got a headache. The receipt didn’t even have a line for a tip so how they added that on is crazy!

I’ve been door-dashing from here for the pst few days during my son’s stay in the hospital here at Scottish Rite. This food has brought us so much freaking comfort. Omg just thinking about it makes my mouth water. The egg rolls are always perfect not too greasy. The food is A-1 I highly recommend. Currently waiting for them to open so that I can place an order lol

I got the spicy chicken with plain fried rice and wonton soup. The chicken was terrible and the texture was the worst part. Not spicy at all. As you can see the rice was not plain and the service was not welcoming but I have 2 stars because it was late and maybe the lady working the cashier was ready to get home. I will not try this place again.
