The atmosphere is amazing… anytime you can go inside a Frank Lloyd Wright building you should take advantage. I came for lunch with my daughter and a couple who are family friends. He is in a wheelchair and it was no problem at all getting in/out and sitting at a table. My daughter and I got the burger and it was very very delicious. The burger with fries and a couple beers will cost over $40. I know it’s California but I just had a similar meal with 2 beers in another state and it was half the price. The service was OK. Definitely would expect a bit more professionalism from the staff at the price but they were friendly. Overall it was a nice experience and I would definitely come back!

An absolute must if you’re in the area. This restaurant has a stellar wine list, delicious food, and amazing service. We came to celebrate a friend’s birthday and the staff made it so very special for them. Would absolutely come back!

Tried the sea bass, quinoa salad, quinoa cakes, and shrimp over a couple of meals. Also the breakfast buffet quiche. Excellent flavors on all these dishes. The chocolate cake was fine but nothing special. The staff are really nice people. Gorgeous mountain views.

Food was not great and was very overpriced for what it was. We ordered multiple items that had ingredients listed on the menu that were never added to the dish. Service was extremely slow. Took 50 minutes from the time we sat down to get our appetizers. Server did not even come to our table until 20 minutes after we were sat. No apology or explanation for any of this.
I would not come back to this restaurant unless it was for a cocktail and the beautiful view!

The gnocchi looked like vomit, mushy and tasteless. The scallops were dry, hard and smelled fishy, not fresh. The elk was cold and drowned in an overly sweet sauce, scalloped sweet potatoes were dry, hard needed salt and pepper. Did not have peaches for specialty salad. No red wine glasses even though they sell red wine. The view was spectacular because it didn’t have to be “Cooked”.
Avoid this restaurant, awful meals and very overpriced.

The chicken with risotto was good, the beet salad was good, and the pork belly starter was great. Extremely friendly and helpful staff at the bar and restaurant. I’ve seen a few of the comments about how “isolated ” it is, but that’s the point if you are looking for a relaxing time and a good meal.

We had a great time at brunch days before and came back again a few days later for dinner. We had made a reservation but unfortunately we had to wait an additional 40 minutes to sit at our table which was fine, we were able to enjoy drinks from the bar and the live music while we waited. Once seated we were greeted by the heavily tattooed brunette female server, I would mention her by name but she never introduced herself. It felt a bit rude and presumptuous that she picked up our tables wine glasses before offering a wine menu, she also never asked us for our drink orders as well.
We ordered appetizers and they took 45 minutes to arrive at our table, I’m not sure why it would take so long when we had ordered a charcuterie as one of the appetizers. Our entrees arrived less than 10 minutes after our appetizers arrived, I’m not sure if the waitress just forgot to put our appetizers in until our entrees were ordered. We felt rushed as well, we were the last table to be sat and there were other parties that had been sitting from since before we arrived for our reservation but we were handed our check with dinner before being asked if we wanted to order dessert. We actually had to waive down another server to put our drink and desserts order in at separate times. We were the last table to be seated and first table to leave and it made me feel uncomfortable to be rushed.
I wasn’t going to complain, but it was extremely uncomfortable to walk out of the bathroom and overhear our waitress very loudly complain to the other employees about only getting a 20% tip on our 400$+ order. The food was great, I just wish we had the proper service to enjoy it in a timely manner and didn’t have such a poorly mannered waitress.

We thought it was a sit down restaurant. The atmosphere was golf 19th hole type bar. We ordered bread ($10.00) unfortunately they ran out. We sent one bottle of wine back . $500.00 for six of us. I wore a long sleeve shirt with collar. My wife wore a skirt. We were the best dressed people there. I will say the food was excellent. The building was unique and worth stopping in for a cocktail.

The building is awesome. Frank Lloyd Wright architect! Service was excellent, home made bread and lemon herb butter was excellent.
Pumpkin Gnocchi appetizer was great. I had the Cesar salad with Salmon added. Salad was good but the salmon was grilled to long so it was dry. I should have asked for it cooked medium rare. But the server didn’t ask. They also comped us dessert since we were celebrating our anniversary. I would go back.

My wife and I love this place. Burger is fantastic. Desserts are delicious. We eat at the bar and you don’t need reservations. The only problem is you’ll show up for dinner and there will be a wedding and everything is closed. We even try to call earlier in the day to avoid this problem but no one answers. We check social media, no post. It’s kinda brutal to drive so far and be left with nothing.
