Family owned facility with warm and welcoming service. The food was fresh and the texture/flavor of the chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the general tso’s dish and spring rolls! The egg rolls were a great value for the size, but were heavy on the cabbage for me.

Just ordered here for the first time based on all the good reviews and it did not disappoint! I have never seen so much food come with a single entree. I could’ve shared with 3 other people and we all would’ve been full. The General Tso was excellent, as were the giant egg rolls. The Almond Chicken was really good as well, but the gravy was different than I was expecting.

Great Asian food spot. While Tai Fai is not set up for dine in patrons (there is seating for a total of 12 people in the whole place) the food is exceptional and the chef has a passion for good flavors. We ordered sushi rolls that he made fresh per our request (not on the menu) and a seasonal special seared tuna mango roll that was awesome. We also ordered Red Curry and Pad Tai to go. Generous portions of both were excellent. The Red curry was full of fresh vegetables and coconut milk. Lightly spicy and creamy. The Pad Tai noodles were fresh made and the chicken pieces were larger than any we have ever had. This is a family owned and operated take out restaurant. A little girl sat at the sushi counter making origami animals. So cute and she offered them for tips.

Ordered take out for dinner – HUGE portion of sweet and sour chicken/fried chicken rice (Didn’t get photo before kids and hubs dug in – all 3 shared and still had leftovers.) I ordered chicken+shrimp pad thai. Lots of sauce, which I love, not a lot of BS, which I also love. Had a sweeter taste to it. Closest I’ve had to my favorite Thailand Express which went out of business a few years ago.
Michigan roll was also pretty good.

5/5 — Absolutely Outstanding! Tai Pan deserves 5 stars and then some. I ordered through DoorDash and was blown away from the moment the food arrived. Everything was piping hot, like it just came out of the kitchen—no sogginess, no cold spots, just fresh and ready to enjoy. First off, the portions are incredibly generous. One entrée easily feeds two people (though it’s so good, you might not want to share!). You definitely get your money’s worth, which is rare these days. Now the stars of the show: Sesame Chicken – Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Crispy without being greasy, coated in a perfectly balanced sauce that’s sweet, savory, and just a little tangy. Every bite was addictive. ️ General Tso’s Chicken – Absolute perfection. The flavor profile is rich and bold with just the right amount of heat. The chicken was tender inside with a satisfying crunch on the outside. You can tell they take pride in their cooking. Even the sides were great — the fried rice was flavorful, not greasy, and the egg rolls were still crispy on arrival. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. Fast delivery, hot and fresh food, and truly exceptional flavor across the board. Tai Pan has officially become my go-to for Chinese takeout. If you’re thinking about ordering—do it. You won’t regret it.

Family style meals

Tai Pan restaurant has a wide range of Thai food and sushi options. There is a sushi chef on site to make fresh sushi rolls. It is easy to place a phone order for pickup. The sizes of the entries are made for sharing. This place is hidden in a small strip mall and might be easy to miss.

Pineapple and chicken fried rice = a ton of rice with tart pineapple bits and dry strips of chicken. This dish was completely devoid of seasoning and flavor. Asked for medium spice and received a container of red oily pepper sauce that was extremely hot. Food was bland and nasty. COULD NOT EAT. This is the 2nd time I’ve received a ton of tasteless food. Do Not Recommend wasting your money.

Mainly a takeout place. The food can vary a little, but last night was excellent. Pad Tai and Crunch roll were the highlight. Spring roll are always good.

Tai Pan provides a very intimate experience during which you can interact directly with the chef/owner from any seat in the small dining room. When it comes to sushi restaurants, I’m particularly diligent about the quality and freshness of the ingredients and Tai Pan doesn’t disappoint. Because the restaurant has very limited seating (less than 20 seats total) it won’t work for a large group. However, they do offer catering and their takeout is perfection on a plate. If you are a sushi lover, you definitely want to make Tai Pan a destination for dining in 2019.
