The restaurant is under new management. I was especially impressed with the fish and chips. It is as good as that I had at another top tier seafood restaurant, crunchy on the outside; soft and fresh on the inside. This for a much more affordable price.
The California cheeseburger has a big, 1/3 lbs. of juicy patty, crunchy bacons, generous portion of avocado , green lettuce , tomato , etc.
The bathroom and dining area are very clean. The friendly cashier, Jay, certainly makes anyone feel welcomed. I would certainly stop by for another good meal next time I’m in town.

The owner has changed, and the restaurant has become very clean and well-organized.
Since I like clean places, I think it is even better now than before.
I ate fish and chips, and it was 정말 delicious. I thought it had been a long time since I had eaten fish this good.
The sauce flavor has also changed slightly, and it was much better than the previous one. It tasted great when I dipped the fish in it.
I will definitely visit again.

Ever since the owner changed, the burgers have gotten even better. Everything is so well-balanced and tasty! The service is super friendly. Highly recommend!

My wife and I just ate the Red Wagon. When we went in I noticed changes inside. I asked the cashier if the owners were the same he said no but the food is the same. BS, the food is definitely not the same. The previous fish and chips were large freshly made pieces of thick white cod. What I got were small pre frozen greasy pieces, that looked like they came from a Gordon box.
My wife’s hamburger was luke warm and definitely needed seasoning.
We also ordered 3 burgers to go. 2 cheese burgers and 1 regular burger to go. Got home labels on the foil said cheese burger but no cheese. I made a phone to talk to them about no cheese, all the guy said was sorry but there’s nothing I can do about it.
Very disappointing such a great place has now turned to CRAP!!!

So, came on a weekend afternoon for a good burger and they didn’t disappoint. One of the better burgers in the area and really tasty extra crispy fries.
I got the “Red Wagon Burger” which I assume is their signature burger, seeing that it is named after the restaurant (or vice versa??). Patty was the perfect thickness, not too thick or thin, just right. Great umami sautéed mushrooms under the patty with a great acid pop from the tomatoes and pickles. Great creamy tangy burger sauce. Crisp lettuce. Pretty much hit all the flavor and texture components of a great burger, salty, fatty, acidic and heat.
With that said, the service was a little lacking. And the atmosphere is a little, blah. Could be spruced up a little bit and better training for the service to be more welcoming and inviting. But with that said, you come here for the burgers, so those other things really don’t matter as much. Great burger and fries, would return.

The food was exceptionally delicious!
Especially the fish and chips were great. Crispy and no fishy fishy smell.

After an ER trip today, i just wanted to stop by and pick up a 2pc fish and chip meal. Haven’t ate the fish and chips in a while, but remembered they were great a few years back. When i called in my order, I asked the lady if two pieces would be enough and how big are the portion sizes? She told me that they were all cut by hand and were different. Ok, after 18 bucks w/tip, I get home and was so very disappointed. The tarter sauce cup was barely filled to the half way point. The the fish, it was so thin you barely could taste it and it was grey. Isn’t cod white? You could taste the breading that was on the fish. Fries, though few, were great. Guess from now on if I’m craven fish…I’ll have to drive down to the Fish House. Can’t believe I was served this.

We’ll be back, probably at least 2-3 times a month, because I love hamburgers and the quality and variety were really good here. It’s a very convenient location, but could possibly be a little easy to miss because it’s tucked in behind Starbucks and McDonalds, near Game Stop. But good signage in the windows and super easy to get in and out.

Had to come back to my favorite burger joint, Red Wagon of Tacoma, after a huge disappointment at In-N-Out. Honestly, I used to be a big time fan of In-N-Out but not anymore after I got to try Red Wagon. Red Wagon’s patty is so thick, juicy and big, made with never frozen meat. I love their French fries too, the crispiest!!!
