My husband and I went to Barry’s for the 1st time this week and were pleasantly surprised at how cute the bar was decorated for Christmas.
We got a few beers then tried the Grinch go to drink and the sugar cookie shot. They were both so good.
After a bit, we ordered the garlic parm wings and turkey pretzel sandwich with fries/ ranch and everything was really tasty! The wings are up there with the best we’ve ever had.
We’ll definitely be back soon! I also want to give a shoutout to our awesome bartender. He was so friendly and sure knows how to make a drink!

This place is awesome! Decked out from floor to ceiling in spooky decorations! The service was great! I feel like I am getting her name wrong, but Hayden (?) was awesome! We got the hot cheese balls and a buffalo chicken wrap and it was all very yummy! Played pool, and talked to some locals. Prices were lower than anywhere we have seen in a while, which will bring us back for sure! Great specials.

First time at Barry’s last night, great experience.
Very cool Halloween decorations all over the place. Has a great vibe. Very nice server and I was surprised they had several local beers on tap, including a Cinderlands and Lolev.

I am the traveler. Now I do want to tell everyone. This is a must stop. From the moment I walked in I felt like a regular. Nice clean place and atmosphere awesome they go all out with decorating for all seasons. Halloween decor everywhere right now. Their chicken fingers are as big as a pint glass. Prices are good service awesome. And they had karaoke Tuesday night at 8:30. Great time and patrons participation. The locals were fantastic, like I know them my whole life.

Barry’s Pub was on my list to try once I heard of it and realized it was part of the North Park Lounge/ NPL family of restaurants, a group of locally owned pub style eateries that the locals have loved for years.
Barry’s shares most of it’s menu items with the “master menu” hailing from NPL in Wexford, but with a few special options thrown in like a Chicago style Hot Dog.
My Mom, my eight year old and I shared the BBQ Chicken Dip, my personal favorite NPL menu item. I had a chicken quesadilla and we also tried the hush puppies. My Mom had a BBQ burger and my son had a grilled cheese. Everything came out hot and nicely prepared and overall is was a good lunch. Our waitress, who was also tending bar, was great. She was just super welcoming, she made us feel really comfortable and she treated us really well.
We were definitely welcome with a little one for lunch but signs on the front entrance stated no one under 21 after 8pm. I found this to be fair because unlike NPL in Wexford, Barry’s is a bar first and a restaurant second. Barry’s is definitely the local weekend watering hole with a well known set of regulars there to kick back and have a good time. There was a pool table in the back, a few video betting games, TVs, and music in the background. Lighting was low but it was very clean inside. There were about three booths, a couple tables and a bar with most of the seats full on a Saturday afternoon.
I suggest a visit for drinks and a quick bite. Considering I mostly dine out with my son in tow, I probably won’t go back, but that’s for personal reasons. I do, however, recommend Barry’s and want to again point out that they were very welcoming and we had a nice time there.

Part of NPL group, Barry’s Pub is a neighborhood bar that is the perfect spot to stop. Local watering hole with great beers, cocktails and really good food! They have a Halloween pop up going on right now and are decked out head to tow in spooky BOOze bar attire. Fun themed cocktails and all the décor really get you in the spirit. Very friendly bartender. They do have a pool table and offer happy hour and host karaoke. Tons of TVs make this the perfect spot for watching football all weekend!

Update: message to owner. I will definitely be back. My expectations for cocktails was high. It was crazy busy when we were there.
The service was fantastic .
Food was not good but the decorations made up for it.
Also, the Christmas cocktails were not that great but the beer was cold, server/bartender was friendly and that made up for the food and drink.

The staff are very friendly and fast. The prices are very reasonable. The have an outdoor heated space with roof for smokers which most places dont offer.
