We were in for the holiday from Chicago and wanted to find a nice local coffee place. Everyone we interacted with here was so friendly. They showed us where they roast the coffee beans and what they look like before they’re roasted there are books you can grab to read and a community board to stay up to date with local events and business. We got a couple seasonal drinks. The gingerbread fog was delicious and just the right amount of sweet. The crème brûlée latte was so creamy. (My husband said they missed an opportunity to call it a “crème brû-latte”)
The main area is a super cute cafe area and upstairs is like sitting in your comfy grandparents living room.

Lib’s is always a must when in Salem! Their coffee is top tier and you can tell a lot of love goes into everything they do! That being said, please bring back your breakfast burritos! My go-to is a hazelnut latte and one of their homemade granola bars!! (Seriously you gotta try one!) I bought 6 to take home with me since I’m not local anymore!! This time I tried their ham, egg and cheese flatbread! My bf and I could have easily shared one instead of getting two! Love their portions 🙂

I love this quaint little coffee shop! The atmosphere is warm and inviting with excellent decor and is very clean and organized. I had coffee and pastries, and everything was delicious, especially the hand pies!
