The location was great. Street parking was acceptable. There were bike lanes in the front.

We had the upstairs banquet hall for our annual gala, and the entire experience was horrible. There was no accessible lift for people on sticks or in wheelchairs even to the entrance from the street level. The entrance lobby was way too small to handle hundreds of check-in efficiently. We had to stand on street then stairs under the afternoon sun for a long while.

There was no accessible lift for people on sticks or in wheelchairs to go up to the banquet hall. There was a balcony but we were prohibited to go outside. The air circulation was very bad, so many of us had to take out suit jackets after about an hour.

The lighting and table settings were fair. Because it did not have build-in PA systems, the organizers hired four speakers on stand, which were too close to nearby tables. They were loud and hurt our ears very much.

During the speeches, many waiters and waitresses stood in front of kitchen and chatted loudly that interference our programs.

The food quality was average and quantity was too much even for ten adults. The big pile of string beans just upset our appetite! We had a vegetarian, but was served only one mid size rice porridge with one plate of big pile of Chinese broccoli. How could a long running restaurant treat their vegetarian patrons?

Over three hours, no server came to ask if plate is needed cleaned or replaced!

The dishes were extremely slow! When we ended programs at 9pm, there were still two dishes unserved!

We recently had a small wedding party here. Manager Vince was very helpful when we did the booking. Ms. Wah was friendly and
most helpful throughout the banquet. A guest wanted hard liquor and he was very, very pleased with the liquor. The wedding decor was beautiful and harbor view was wonderful. The guests were all happy with the food and the atmosphere. We all had a great time. Will definitely recommend this restaurant for weddings.

The food is yummy! They offer a big plate of food at fair price. Also, the view is so good you can see the harbor through the window

Delicious Chinese food in a Seattle landmark! This beautiful venue has sweeping views of Lake Union. Good prices, plenty of parking and easy walking access. New ownership is very friendly and are experienced restauranteurs. You have every reason to come here and feast!

Wonderful experience! Delicious food!
We went here for my husband’s birthday dinner. So yummy . We had the almond fried chicken, broccoli beef, pot stickers, and shrimp with honey walnuts. The potsticker wrappers were light, not too doughy, and just the right balance of tender and crispy!
The view is the best part though. Gorgeous views of Lake Union! And they have an event hall upstairs with amazing views too. Wish I had an excuse to rent it!
Excellent service and prices are surprisingly reasonable (especially for Seattle).
The only negative I can find is that there is a bit of shabbiness to the building — but it sure didn’t decrease my enjoyment of the evening.
Hope to be back soon!

FYI, there are cute areas to explore near the building, like various marinas and an ice cream shop.

I ate at the old China Harbor for my wedding anniversary. The new name “Seattle Harbor” feels sloppy. It looks like the old “China Harbor” sign was just half-covered, with only the word “Seattle” swapped in. That lack of effort gives the impression of low intentionality and makes me doubt the quality inside. Strongly recommend fixing the sign to show pride in the restaurant.

Great dimsum in lake union area. Very nice ambiance of dining room with wooden chinese walls and doors. I think they changed owners recently or at least chefs, and the food improved substantially. I was scared when I ordered as previously it was bad. But I was very surprised that it turned out to be great and it was totally different from the previous time I was there
