The food here is great, our waitress was even better. She was very attentive and really brought the vibes out. She made my eating experience so much better. The food was also very very good, they have plenty of options and dint go wrong on their enchiladas. The overall look of the restaurant was nice, it was clean and bright inside!

Thought we’d take a chance with this place instead of going to our favorite place, Maracas, which is directly across the street.
The food was absolutely terrible.
My wife ordered tacos, and I ordered a rebel burrito, I think,and my son a burrito as well.
The food was cold,and all entrees were dry. The image is of my burrito. The meat you see in the image is all that came on the burrito ,the rest was just old hard crinkle cut fries.
I put some sour cream in a bowl to dip my burrito in because it was so dry.I couldn’t finish the burrito after a few bites.and my wife had 1 bite of hers and have up.
Please don’t let my experience with this establishment stop you from trying those places. I base this review on my experience.

We had mixed feelings about our visit here. Our server was really nice and did their best to keep things pleasant, but the service overall was very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to get our drinks and nearly 45 minutes for the food to arrive, which was especially tough with a toddler in tow and it was not a busy night.
The ambience was okay, a bit too bright and it definitely could use some music to create more of a lively, inviting atmosphere. On the plus side, the margaritas were strong and tasty, definitely a highlight of the night. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. I ordered the mojo de ajo, and the shrimp tasted a little fishy, which was off-putting.
We would probably come back to grab drinks at the bar because the margaritas were solid, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a dinner spot based on this visit.

I recommend coming to eat here , I have been going every week for years , very good service drinks always good !!! Food EXCELLENT!!! Always hot , tasty, exactly as ordered —- always a table to be had !!! WOW and great service – have been very happy coming here – I want to say Thank you everyone for making it an enjoyable experience!!! From the Servers to the cooks to the managers!!! Thank You !!!

South Hill #3. Not a fan of “please wait to be seated”, just so you can seat yourself. I loved the rebel burrito when this location 1st opened. When it had the crinkle cut fries. My husband loved it too. But when your being told by management, ” no you want the rebel fries”. Which doesn’t compare to it’s counter part. While your still waiting for your beer and a refill on your chips and salsa. (Salsa is bland, covered up with heat).You tend to take notice. If it had happened only the one time I’d be less harsh. But it happened consistently. So we just stopped going. Also the service was always slow.
It’s been at least 3 years since we’ve eaten there. So today, didn’t order a beer, didn’t ask for more chips, got the extra salsa though. Service hasn’t changed. My rebel burrito had a ball of shoe string fries and less carne asada than before. I’m not even sure if it was beef. It didn’t look or taste right. Took two a bites and I was done. Husband only ate half of his.

Wow, I don’t know what people are complaining about this place for. We c9me often and always have great service and tasty food. The fajita bowl and carne asada plates are yummy, with great flavors. All I can say is if you order a burrito filled with French fries at a Mexican restaurant, you get what you deserve. Try the street tacos instead!

Enjoyed every bite of 6-taco sampler, pork, beef, cactus, and vegan options too. Fiesta salad with chicken was excellent. Cactus on taco was delicious. Booths and tables available. Bar has tv’s and variety of tequila options. Great family place or sit at the bar and watch a game. Service was timely and friendly. This is a southhill food gem! Our daughter, who doesn’t usually like tacos, changed her tune – and really likes De Leon’s tacos!
