City Burger absolutely blew me away. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. The food? Next level. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly not greasy, not dry, just straight-up delicious. The fries were crispy perfection, and that house sauce? Game changer.
If you’re looking for a spot with amazing food, quick service, and a cool atmosphere, this is it. City Burger has definitely earned a new loyal customer. Highly recommend!

Delicious patty melt and Jalapeño boy, fries were mid. Tried ordering by calling it in but all numbers went to voicemail. Took very long, I wouldn’t wait 2hours again.. ordered and quoted 1hr for wait time but ended up being 2hours. Stopped taking orders around 10pm even tho their supposed to be open until 3am, lots of people turned away. Hopefully wait time is shorter a couple months from now cuz they’re really good!

City Boy Burgers has been my go-to since the pop ups and their residency at Williwaw, and they’ve never missed. The smash burgers are crazy good, the fries always hit, and you can taste the quality in every bite. Everything is fresh and made with real care, so I never mind waiting. Watching them grow into their own spot has been dope to see and well deserved. Anchorage is about to have a new favorite burger place. Highly recommend.

City boy burger, waited for an hour, was it worth it, I dont know maybe if you really like their burgers. For a jalapeño burger, and fries cost me 19 dollars, a little expensive, but I was satisfied.
This place is a “take out” only, so you’re waiting in your car for the order or shopping lol.
While waiting i read someone’s review on Google maps and that person waited 2 hours.
I think they’d make more money if the place was a dine in, that served beer and drinks.
Usually I dont eat in my car, I decided to this time, need to make a Crack burger, something so addicting, and that tastes like 10/10.

My husband and I have been grabbing City Boy burgers since they popped up at the south farmers market last summer. Rain or shine, random pop ups around town and even during their time at Williwaw- we’d wait in line along with other patrons wanting the same meal. We’ve also tried their wings and French fries and those are delicious as well. They truly have the best smashed burger we’ve had in Alaska and we’re so excited to see they finally have their own space!!

Hands down the best smash burgers in Anchorage. I had the Signature Double Burger and fries. Burger was perfectly seasoned & cooked. Buns were generously buttered. Fries were comparable to McDonalds fries but with larger grains of salt.
The wait was EXTREMELY long, but it’s because they’re trying to figure out the best workflow to get customers in and out in a timely manner. Give them a little bit of time and grace to figure things out since they’re trying to adjust from doing pop-ups at Williwaw to operating a brick & mortar location. Once they find a place to reduce wait times, I will be back over and over again.
