Very interesting little restaurant with XinJiang dishes available. Price value was pretty high while many of the dish were well made.

The place offered us XinJiang milk tea which was interesting and was complementary which was a cool add to the experience.

Beef chow fun was a comfort go to dish we got and it was some of the best we have had in the greater Seattle area, fresh, tasty, big proportion and very reasonable price.

RouJiaMo was fresh and warm, meat is tender, well seasoned and the bun was super crunchy and flaky. A bit heavy on the soy sauce for my taste but the dish itself is very well executed and for a reasonable price.

The XinJiang specialty dish were pretty good too, the meat bun was fresh and hot, the shell was super crunchy and plenty of meat inside.

The specialty rice was decent, would like a bit more meat in there as those were really tender and delicious compared to the rice part, but the pickle carrot that came with it were on fire, loved the pickled carrots.

Overall, very interesting and unqiue cuisine with good value.

So, I tried this little hidden gem near my neighborhood today. I just happened to see it and decided to give it a shot. I got lucky. The food was great. That spicy chicken is the spicy and super yummy. I had the fried rice too. It was very rich and packed with beef, chicken, shrimp, and spam. Plus, the owner was so nice, they gave us a free smoothie.

We tried the holiday set menu for two. $37.95 for all this (including 2 rices and 2 drinks) is definitely worth it. Drinks can be chosen from the boba menu. My partner chose the regular suger which is a little bit too sweet. I chose the less suger which I think is just good. Spicy Boiled Beef is delicious and highly recommended if you like spicy food.

My friend told me they got a new owner here, and I just found out they have Xinjiang handmade baked buns now! The lamb inside is huge and super tender, and it’s super juicy when you bite into it. I also got the Spicy todu w fish, dan dan noodles, and spicy wontons! I even saw zhajiang noodles on the menu, so Im excited to come back and try more dishes!

The peppercorn fish at this restaurant is honestly the best fish dish I’ve ever had. The flavors are incredibly authentic, just like real Chinese home cooking and exactly like the taste of my hometown. The balance of numbing spice and fragrance is perfect, and you can really tell they use high-quality ingredients.
I also love that you can choose your preferred spice level and even the type of fish, so every time feels customized and just right.

This review is based on take out! I recommend you call ahead if you’re interested in the Xinjiang Baked bread below as they may sold out end of the day. The staff were very polite as well, I read from other reviews it is under new management. The other dish was Xinjiang hand pulled rice (unfortunately I already ate half of it before taking the photos – it is good portion!). They have other dishes I’ll have to come back and try, but these are popular recently.

Both dishes are cumin-forward and I love cumin, so I think they’re flavorful. The lamb was prepared excellently as there was no gamey smell to it. The rice comes with chickpeas and also pickled/oily carrots (not pictured) which were very tasty with the rice.

The meat filling in the bread was really good, and the pastry was soft and filling. I do think it’s a bit thicker than I’m used to, but I never really had Xinjiang food so you can disregard me on that.

Overall I will be visiting again, definitely plus points to the polite waitress and waiter, even giving me suggestions on how to reheat for optimum taste!

They’ve recently updated the menu with new Xinjiang and Sichuan dishes, and everything we tried tasted great. The flavors were authentic and well done.

The place is much cleaner now and offers dine-in seating, which makes the overall experience better. Worth checking out.

This store just got a new owner a month ago, and kept some previous menus on the basis of updating the dishes. The owner is very good at serving the enthusiastic guests here, and it seems that many of them are repeat customers of word-of-mouth publicity. We will continue to visit here in the future.
