The staff all act as if they hate being there and really don’t want to help you. It was 2pm on Saturday and we ordered 2 bowls to go. It took over 20 minutes and they were not even helping anyone else. When we got home, the bowls were only 1/2 full and had just 4 small nuggets in each bowl. Nothing like what they advertise. We love KFC and this is the closest one to us, 32 minutes away. We have given them 3 chances to improve, but it just gets worse. The place was filthy and there was no ice in the pop machine. We are done with KFC. Don’t waste your money on this place.

Two of us sat in line in the drive up for over 20 mins, which is awesome it’s KFC. We finally got to order booth, we wanted one two piece barbecue dinner and a three piece barbecue dinner. The guy told us we have no white meat chicken meat. And I asked you have no white chicken he said no. So screw it not going back ever again. We went Taco Tico and they didn’t tell us we have no tacos. Don’t know how KFC even services in Fort Dodge, it was Friday night one of the busiest nights for people to go out and eat and you had no white chicken meat. Wow

Normally I do drive thru, but today the line was super long and I was in a hurry. So I went inside to get it to go. I ordered 1 dorito taco and a large mashed potato. I waited for 22 minutes. There was no hurry to the employees as they sauntered around in the kitchen. Another customer said that they had waited 45 minutes. Multiple people left just walking in and looking at the line. I finally recieved my food and said thank you. The employee rudely said “ok” and I left. Got back to my car, drove away, and realized I had no spoon

I drove thru and picked up my food, chicken strip basket, after I was home I opened the box and the chicken was dried out and hard. You could tell it was not fresh. It looked and acted like it had been sitting under a warmer for hours..the time was 6:29pm. My French fries were the same way. They were both to hard to bite. I immediately called to talk to a manager and non was available. I got online and did the chat with a robot and they offered me a refund of less then half what I paid. That was unacceptable. 3 days later I got ahold of the manager who would only refund the chicken & fries. That was unacceptable, my whole meal needed to be replaced.i called the kfc complaint line at least once a week. I wanted a full refund and a dinner for all the hardship I had been going through. Everytime I called the complaint line I was told someone would call me. Nobody has. This happened on 9/25/25 and today is 11/8/25. I put a complaint into the better business bureau with no response. This is ridiculous. I am continuing to make calls about this incident.

My ordered was rung up wrong therefore being charged more than I should have. They were out of change so I was not given the correct amount of money I was owed. When going in the store to make a complaint was denied my rightful change or any type of computation and was informed they have been short on change lately. Won’t be doing any more business that mistreat their customers and then rips them off.

I’m a concurrent DoorDash driver and this is the first time I’ve been here for a DoorDash. It took me 5-10 minutes to get to the restaurant thinking they’d have it done or be working on it. It wasn’t busy either when I got here. They hadn’t even started working on the order and I stood at the register for more than 10 minutes waiting for someone to tell them I’m the DoorDash driver. The lady who was “making” the order was extremely rude and saying that she just received the order but I saw it on the screen when I arrived and she was just standing and talking. Don’t recommend this place as there’s horrible service and not very friendly

When we got there, there was 2 people standing waiting for orders, also a table of 5 and one of 2. We put in our order and waited for 45 minutes. None of the orders were coming out. One asked for a refund, 2 orders came out that no one ordered. I complained, they gave us our order but others that were there before us were still waiting. It looked like 5-6 people working but cashier said they were short handed. Very frustrating. 45 minutes to 1 hour is ridiculous.
