A few locals told us this place was excellent… it was not. The condition of the outside should have been our first clue. It looks like it’s about to be demolished.
I ordered a tamal, the first one that was brought out had been sitting on a hot plate for at least a week! It was so burnt on the bottom that I could not cut it with a knife, the bottom half inch had become a solid mass. Second one was fresher, but the first should never have seen the outside of the kitchen.
We were there on a hot day, inside they have a single wall AC unit that looked about 20 years old and not doing the job of even trying to make it cool. And then there were the flies that were buzzing around constantly.

Very disappointed in the food taste and quality. Ordered carry out for a family gathering. The restarant has been under repair for at least a year now and still has not been completed. I had avoided stopping there because the outside was literally falling apart. I assumed with the outside looked that bad, the kitchen would not be much better.
I will say, the inside looked much better then the outside. Unfortunately the food was very bland. I ordered 3 enchiladas and they came bare. No sauce, no nothing. Ordered 3 other means and only one came with sauce and it was literally drowning in it. If you are looking for quality Mexican food you’re better off going to Frostburg’s El Maya restarant.

We weren’t sure if it was open – we are from out of town and it did not appear to be -but they are just doing some renovations and they are indeed open. They have delicious food and fantastic margaritas. The lunch portions were generous.

No..just say NO. It wasn’t just the food. Outside- Broken windows, broken lights, rotting wood., dropping/broken gutters.
Inside- There’s a funky smell of I’d say old grease that I think the carpet is still holding onto. Our chips and tamales were left in the fryer too long and had turned dark brown/black on the edges. My beef tips were drowning in a greasy sauce that made the burrito stick to the extremely hot plate. I will never go here again….ever

This place is a most go eat at the food is amazing and the taste is amazing as well. I highly recommend going here to eat lunch or dinner.

This location has been a hit or miss type of deal but this afternoon the food and service was awesome, only complaint is its kind of chilly inside the restaurant and the guy waiter could be more friendly! Family friendly, great place to eat and best food in the keyser area.

The lady that waited on us was nice and friendly. The food wasn’t bad, but my gosh. The place outside is falling apart. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t keep a clean business. I wouldn’t bring anyone there from out of town. I can’t understand why they neglect the outer appearance so badly. Cleaning up and weeding is free. Paint is cheap. Show some pride in the business. The inside is almost as bad as the outside. Pull up that gross carpet for some tile floor. Sadly I doubt we go back. The food can be a 10, but if the cleanliness isn’t good then I’m out. There were also lots of flies the entire time we ate. Highly doubt we return.
