I can only review as a takeaway but everything was 5/5. We ordered a collection and we live in Dundonald so it was a short journey from the restaurant to our home and the food was still warm. The food was excellent. I can’t complain about any of it. We had chicken tikka masala and a chicken tikka Rogan josh. We got garlic naan and onion bhaji. Everything was delicious. It is slightly more expensive than other Indian takeaways nearby but the quality and taste warrants that. Will definitely be ordering from Tale of Spice again soon! Thank you

I read the reviews during a family activity at Dundonald Ice Bowl. It is a very short drive. Two out of four of us have a low tolerance to lactose. The chef suggested coconut as an alternative to milk in most dishes. The food was well prepared and presented. The service is excellent. One benefit of eating outside peak hours is the opportunity to talk to staff and learn more about the rich Indian cuisine.

I’m not a big Indian food enjoyer, but the chicken briyani was absolute top tier. Waiters were very very friendly and attentive. Portions were massive, was pretty much full after the appetizers and starters. Good value for money ! Will be back.

First time in Ireland, and wanted a traditional curry……WOW WOW WOW. Had to phone the owner to thank him for my meal. Everything cooked as promised after my phone order. It will be hard to have a curry around the UK that is this good….the only sad thing is that I cannot take my left overs on the plane for my partner. Weldone team ‘Tale of Spice’

A very pleasant evening. The decor was tasteful; pretty and modern but also quite plush which added to the ambience. The staff were attentive and warm and service was prompt.
I am celiac and appreciated how allergens were clearly marked on the menu. The daily menu offered two courses +popadoms for less than £30 and had plenty of choice. I had the mixed starter and chicken dopiaza with pilau rice. The sauce was rich and not as sweet as some of the other dishes. We were all very happy with our food and there were no left overs!
We were celebrating a birthday and the waitress put a candle into a dessert and they sang happy birthday which was a lovely touch. After paying, we were offered shorts and were not rushed to leave.
I would definitely return and recommend this restaurant.
