It is always friendly in this restaurant. Staff is great. Had to stand a long time to get a clean table. Only one server on the floor doing orders, clearing and cleaning tables. Food was good as always. Love the pickled Beets.

Our breakfast was delicious and their prices couldn’t be beat. When you order an omelet with sausage and bacon, they definitely give you exactly that. It’s easily one of the best omelets I’ve had locally. The older lady who runs the place is nice as can be as well.

Amazing, delicious food! We all ordered a Western omelette, with sausage. We all left stuffed! The atmosphere is friendly, like family. We’ve traveled almost 3000 miles in the last week and a half, and this is one of the best places to eat in the country! Love it! HIGHLY recommend!

Didn’t know what to think when we walked in, very old. But, don’t tell dad, they have the best biscuits and gravy! Potatoes are old school like grandma made. The sausage ia fire. Good stuff, cheap too, we paid $17 for 2 people. Bring cash, it’s cash only.

Food was amazing. Prices are unbeatable. However our service and wait time today we’re horrible. We waited an hour to get our food after we ordered today. There was a crack in my plate with a hole in it. Very disappointed today compared to when I’ve visited in the past.

Simple Americana eats for a great price located at the old lebanon horse racing track of which it gets its name. There’s no question about it, this place is a locals favorite as it serves a simple menu of items with hamburgers being the goto meal. If hamburger isn’t your first choice, sandwiches and finger foods like chicken tenders are just as readily available. Your not coming here for ambience, although the look is actually what you’d expect. Just remember to bring cash, they keep there prices down by not using credit cards.

If you are looking for good, scratch kitchen cooking, this is the place to go. I love the homecooked eggs and bacon, chicken fried steak, and biscuits and gravy. It’s a small restaurant at the fairgrounds and the folks that go there are what most people would call country. Don’t let that scare you off. These are good people that serve good food. Give it a try!
