I came in with my Dad yesterday to show him how good the food here is since I come in with my husband and daughter all the time ! And the girl in front just had horrible customer service. Really had a vibe of trying to rush me and my dad felt very disrespected. Need to work on customer service because the food here is very good.

Ive always went to Emeryville to get me some Hawaiian BBQ, because there was non where i live. But know i found out there is a Hawaiian BBQ restaurant that wasn’t there before where i live. Im so happy. I dont have to go all the way to Emeryville anymore. So thank you for opening up here in San Pablo CA.

The service was impeccable—attentive but never intrusive. The food was beyond incredible; the poke was so fresh it tasted like it came straight from the ocean, and the kalua pork was tender and packed with smoky goodness. This spot is hit or miss. For being “Hawaiian,” the chicken katsu is not good or tasty and neither is the macaroni salad. The teriyaki salmon is so bland they should just call it salmon. I will say I have tried the habanero chicken and the teriyaki chicken and those were actually good and my go tos now, but that’s about it, they are the only two things I’d recommend on the menu so far. Also, they never have the crab rangoons so I wonder why they’re still on the menu

The katsu chicken had gristle and a little piece of bone in it. It was a large portion. But I could not eat it. I didn’t like the lumpia either. Teriyaki chicken was good.

Got the chicken katsu dish. Katsu is very crisp, use thigh meat, sauce is good, habanero sauce is killer, some pieces of katsu mostly breading with how thin the meat got but a large portion and so I do not feel skimped on meat overall. Steamed cabbage and broccoli provided give a nice break to the grease. Mac is on par with l&l. Would eat here again
