Excellent homemade cuisine. If you enjoy complex and flavorful Indian curries and appetizers, this is the place for you. As an avid fan of Indian cuisine, I’ve experienced hundreds of dishes, and this ranks as one of the top spots for dishes that include fresh spices with lovely, subtle curry flavors. You won’t experience monotone curries and chaats—each one that we tried had unique combinations of herbs and ingredients. The presentations were delightful, as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant for dining or takeout.

The service was incredible and speedy, the food melted on my tongue and the restaurant had a cozy feel. I had never heard of an Indori hotdog before, but the owner explained it throughly. That was some of the best food I’ve ever had!!

I’ve had a few things, including Loaded Samosa Chaat and Bihari Goat Curry. Everything is top-notch. Unusual dishes you won’t find elsewhere. Things can be requested as spicy as you like. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed.

This is my new favorite Indian restaurant in the Boston area!

Curry Chapter is a great addition to the Cambridge food scene. The spices are layered, the sauces are rich, and the overall quality is consistently good. I especially appreciate how fresh everything tastes.

That said, everything felt too salty! I think dialing the salt back would really let the spices shine even more. Still a very enjoyable meal!

Edit: Thank you for replying! We have tried Tikka Masala, Tandoori Wings, Saag Burrata, Malai Soya Chaap, Cheese Naan, and a lamb curry, and my friends and I all had the feeling that every dish was way too salty, including the Cheese Naan 🙂 We drank a ton of water and ate a lot of rice and wasn’t able to finish the dishes despite loving them very much! Thank you for considering our feedback!

Hands down the best Indian food I’ve had anywhere! Everything is very reasonably priced, especially for Harvard Square, and it is truly delicious. We chatted with the chef, PJ, who told us that the kitchen makes everything from scratch, including their spice blends, and they don’t use any artificial colors in their food. It truly felt like eating at someone’s house, and everything was both stunning and out-of-this-world tasty, from the chaat to the naan to the entrees. The burrata sag – think sag paneer, but with a creamy ball of burrata on top rather than the paneer – was so innovative and amazing — consider getting it! We’ll be back to make our way through the rest of the menu for sure — this place is an absolute gem, and the quality and creativity in the food truly stands out.

A True Culinary Gem in the Heart of Cambridge! If you are looking for an Indian dining experience that transcends the standard buffet fare, look no further. Tucked right in the vibrant center of Cambridge, this new spot is a masterclass in flavor, authenticity, and hospitality. What truly sets this place apart is the palpable passion of the owner and the entire staff. We were greeted at the door with genuine warmth.

**Verdict**
The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between modern-chic and cozy-welcoming, making it ideal for a date night or a high-energy lunch/dinner with friends. Cambridge has a lot of dining options, but the soul and craftsmanship here make it a standout. Do yourself a favor and order the Goat Biryani, your taste buds will thank you!

Amazing food. Rich, deep and complex, excellent. The basics are perfect, but then on top of that, there are dishes we’d never seen anywhere else that were incredible. Honestly the best Indian food I’ve had in Cambridge / Somverville. Can’t wait to go back and work through the menu!

Chicken Tikka, delicious. Pakoras, unreal. PJ the manager, the BEST. I’ve catered from PJ and his staff for years and it’s always delicious. Everyone always leaves so happy. PJ is super accommodating and makes everything easy. Highly recommend! Can’t say enough good things. Love this place!

I really love Curry Chapter because the flavors are so comforting and authentic. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food, and the portions are generous too.

The only thing for me is that some dishes can be a way too salty. I would happily eat here all the time if the salt were lighter. Everything else is wonderful, and I’m excited to keep supporting this place!
