The Jerk chicken was valid! It was flavorful and juicy. The location is not in the best area, but the food made up for the risk. They are a cash only establishment but the staff are very friendly and inviting. I will definitely visit again!

Everything we had was delicious. The fried fish, the brown stew chicken, patties and all the sides were great! Good portions too. I paid with my phone via tap to pay. We will be back!

My experience here was truly out of this world. I’ve traveled all over the world, and this place deserves to be on anyone’s bucket list. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was somewhere special — but I had no idea just how deeply today would touch my heart.
I want to personally thank you for our conversation. You have no idea the impact your words had on me. Your kindness, your spirit, and the way you genuinely connect with people make you nothing short of a godsend.

And the food…
If heaven served meals to the greatest kings who ever lived, this is exactly what it would taste like. Every bite was unbelievable, the kind of food that doesn’t just fill you — it stays with you.

Seriously, words can’t describe today. It was more than a meal, more than a conversation… it was an experience I will never forget.

Thank you doesn’t even say enough. Your words, your voice and our conversation will forever be with me..

Upon my inaugural visit to the Caribbean Delight establishment nestled in the vibrant yet challenging environs of Saint Louis’s south side, I embarked upon a culinary journey that one might say was as audacious as it was delectable. The moment my palate encountered their rendition of jerk chicken, a symphony of flavors enveloped my senses with a crescendo of smoky warmth, punctuated by a harmonious blend of spices that danced upon my tongue.

The succulent meat (mind the bones), painstakingly imbued with the essence of allspice, scotch bonnet peppers, and thyme, transported me to the sun-soaked shores of the islands.

Though the geographical context added a certain frisson to the experience, the culinary prowess of Caribbean Delight proved triumphant, transcending the locale and bestowing upon my discerning palate a remarkable gustatory voyage.

Delicious pineapple soda as well! Bravo Caribbean Delight! ❤️‍

If you are on the southside of St. Louis, you should check this restaurant out. I ordered Jerk Chicken, Rice and Peas meal. The service was excellent. The young woman assisting me was very kind and pleasant. The food smelled so good, and the rice was phenomenal. The chicken was good even better with the jerk sauce and the cabbage finger licking good. I just wish I didn’t have as many bones in the chicken, but besides that, the food was great for sure. I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in St. Louis.

As expected in all Carribean restaurants, you won’t get much service, and you’ll never be able to tell who actually is supposed to be working the counter. Nevertheless, the food was good. However, I did feel cheated on the amount of chicken I received. Maybe it’s because I’m used to Carribean restaurants given a full leg quarter cut up, versus just random pieces. I’m used to Carribean restaurants in the south. I’d probably try them again in the future a few months from now when I’m back in the area. I ordered both the jerk chicken and curry chicken plate. By the way this place is cash payments only.

I’ve heard nothing but good reviews about this place so I was excited about trying their found. The oxtails were salted heavily and burnt as if they may have been old. Upon finishing my plate I noticed a piece of hair mixed in with my oxtail bone. Overall disappointed

The area is a little sketchy but thats usually where the good spots are, and it reigns true. I ordered the curry chicken with rice and peas with a side of jerk chicken. The rice didnt have many beans but thats jist how i like it. The lady got a little snappy with me because I didn’t understand what she was saying but she apologized and this food was so delicious I wouldn’t even cared if she didn’t!!!! Will be returning everytime I visit Stl.
