I went around 11:50 and there was a few customers already inside. I ordered carne asada fries (10/10) I even waited until I got home and the fries were still crispy, plenty meat, cheese, toppings and all. They aren’t stingy with portion sizes. I also got the cali dog and one with hot Cheetos (10/10) the hotdog was grilled great, toppings were full and the bun was soft! Will recommend and be returning!

We tried 4 different dogs and they where all fantastic. Who knew a hot dog could be that good?! It was a clean quit atmosphere. They had a free pool table that my teenaged boys loved. I can not begin to even describe how good the Mac and cheese is, to top it off cucumber lemonade was bomb. You will not be disappointed.

MAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNN HOLD UP!!!!

I finally got to try some of the new menu items at Lalo’s Mexican Dogos and OMG!!!

I remember first trying some of their amazing hotdogs when he was selling them on the front porch of his house. Everything was incredible back then and it still is now.

Their new location is inside of Brick’s Bar. As soon as we walked in and approached the bar, we were greeted by an energetic and kind young lady. I think her name was Sarah. We placed our order and she also made a few suggestions, which I’m really glad she did. I ordered the El Ray Burrito (make sure to ask for it “Wet”). I also ordered 2 dogos (Queso and Lalos Dogo). I ordered 1 of each taco (bistek and pollo) and I got an order of the asada fries

The first thing I tried was the asada fries and I’m not kidding when I say these were the best asada fries I’ve ever had!!! The fries were nice and crunchy on the outside and still soft in the middle. The bistek itself was very tender and seasoned to perfection. The toppings (cheese, queso, guacamole, sour cream) were a match made in heaven. We got the pico on the side (my wife doesn’t care for it) and it also came with some homemade ranch and some salsa verde. I poured both of them on the fries and took 1 bite and instantly knew I was eating something amazing.

The next thing I tried was the tacos. Both the bistek and pollo were perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy, as you can see in the picture. The corn tortillas were also on point!!! The grilled onions that came on the side couldn’t have been grilled any better

Although I’ve already had both of the hotdogs before, they were just as amazing as I remember. The buns were toasted to perfection and held together quite nicely. 10 out of 10 glizzies.

Now on to the main reason why I showed up. The El Ray burrito. For less than $10 you can feed a small family with this thing (check the picture for reference). All of the ingredients inside were meant for each other, but the best part was asking to “Make it wet”. They melt mozzarella on top and rest it atop a creamy tomatillo salsa. Heaven on a plate from a hotdog spot, located in a bar ‍♂️

Last but not least, the horchata and the lemonade. Both were equally delicious and refreshing.

If you have yet to make you way over to Lalo’s, now is the time. Stop drooling over these pics and go see for yourself!!! There’s plenty of seating available.

Decided to try lalo’s tonight for dinner and the family is completely happy. We had the carne asada fries and a couple of carne asada tacos. I know this is a Mexican hot dog place but we wanted something else.

First off the carne asada fries, the carne asada itself was so tender and delicious. Love the fact that it wasn’t full of fat or gristle like some restaurants. Love to give you. You can tell that it was quality carne asada. Also that queso!!! I could drink that queso straight out of a cup. It was so delicious. The only negative I have is that they use crinkle cut fries which I’m not a fan of but that’s just a personal choice.

Now to the carne asada tacos. The meat was just like in the carne asada fries, tender juicy and not full of fat and gristle. The tortillas were absolutely delicious. They held together just perfectly and the tacos were the perfect size for light snack. They served it with a salsa verde which was absolutely delicious and topped it with cilantro and onions. They also served a portion of grilled onions and green peppers which was good and took the tacos to another level.

Hot diggity dog, I am in love! I love these Hot dogs! So yummy!

Cheeto dog hands done my fav!

It’s a nice place with good food.

It’s a bar environment, which is fine. But I expected more non alcoholic drink options.

No worries! 5 stars from me! Glad to have found yall! I’ll be back!

Delicioso! Prices as of Dec 2025 have gone up a bit, $2.50 per taco and $13 for the asada fries (steep compared to what was posted a year ago, but beef has been insanely overpriced lately and small biz can’t escape that). The bistek taco was pretty full and came with grilled onions as well as the standard cilantro + onion, a nice touch. The salsa verde was very good. The asada fries were everything I’d want for $13 – a strong portion, good amount of meat, with cheese dip + shredded cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, guacamole, and more salsa verde on the side. I demolished them. Best decision I made this week.

Seating inside Brick’s would be limited when busy, but just take your order to go.
