Its crazy how thier quality has steadily gotten worse and worse…..this pizza today looks like my son made it; some thick parts and some so thin its ridiculous. Its the smallest large pie I have ever seen…….even the cheese has changed; all plasticity cause its cheaper.

Well…… we’ve eaten here twice in 24 hours. LOL!!! When we come near Danbury, my husband is looking for great pizza, and Michael Angelo’s has it. I had a salad both times with the pizza, and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. We dined in even though there’s only tables to sit. It’s very popular for take out. The staff were friendly and very attentive. If we were local, we would be regulars. There’s more parking around the corner. Don’t let that turn you away like it did us on a prior trip. We called ahead to see if there was a place to sit, and she reserved the booth for us.

This is the BEST pizza in Danbury. Pizza is a simple food but not simple to get right. These people nailed it. Crispy crust, bright and balanced sauce. Everything works perfectly. Keep up the good work! I’d upload a picture but I just ate the two slices I got for lunch today.

This pizza absolutely delivers. The crust is that ideal mix of crispy on the outside and soft inside, every bite has texture and flavor. The sauce tastes fresh and balanced, not too sweet, with just the right tang. The cheese melts perfectly, golden and stretchy without being greasy.

I dnt kno why its taken me so long to do a write up for Mickey A’s but consistently busting out one of the better pies in the area its a bit overdue….
The pies slingin out of this establishment are reminiscent of ny style rounds. Theres good balance in sauce to cheese to crust ratios and all in all the flavors are pretty spot on.
These pies run on the saltier side making me long for a lil sweetness in the sauce to offset everything that just isn’t there. The cheese and dough are both good quality as theres a solid grease layer and decent bite to the crust.
Like a lot of pies in the area its best enjoyed fresh out the oven at the location or in your car as the crust is still nice n crispy, everything works best before it sits a bit. By the time ya bring a pie home the bottom has sogged up a touch.
Outside of that this place has been doing their thing for a min and they have earned a loyal fan base for it. Not a bad slice by any means.

Family owned, takeout although they accommodate us (passing through the area) a place you know they legitimately care about their products. Gluten-free pizza..better then the mouth drying cracker like stuff most use. The regular pizza looked very nice. Thinner crispy then the regular fare at other places. Definitely going to keep Michael Angelo’s in sites when passing through! Loving ❤️ Oh!!! SAUCE IS AMAZING
