No MSG. Delicious food!
I have been to SILK Restaurant and Sushi Bar a few times, and there have been approximately four months between visits. The experience was the same both times.
I ordered the Almond Chicken, Garlic Chicken, and a California Roll. My friends ordered the Sesame Chicken, a Roll Deep Sushi Roll, and hot sake.
Both the California and Roll Deep rolls were delicious but fell apart easily, as they did on my previous visit.
The main dishes were delicious and cooked perfectly. They do not use MSG, and for that reason, I keep coming back.
Service was great, and they even offered us green tea at the end of our meal after we paid, probably because we were the last ones in the restaurant.
The atmosphere is a little lacking, but when you are in good company, it does not matter. For people eating alone, it can be a bit boring.
I will definitely keep coming back in another four months or so.

My first impression was awful. I am never the one who complains but this was bad. First the wait was relatively long considering it was only a few tables before us during lunch rush. Second, we had no napkins or utensils and when we finally received our roll they forgot the wasabi. It was the smallest things that kept adding up that made it so disappointing. Lastly, this is not a joke, a used band aid laying on my order of teriyaki chicken. The lady who made our sushi wasn’t a bit apologetic, made it seem we planted it. That was the last straw!! Never again. No one Silk!

Definitely recommend. Friendly staff that provided great customer service. I enjoyed the beef lo mein and the Alaska and Salmon Crunch sushi rolls. So yummy!! All tasted great and soup was included and it had great flavor as well. At the end, they boxed up my leftovers for me. Very kind people that work there. Variety of seating options with the booths, tables and sushi bar. Family friendly.

The servers were nice. I’m not a big fan of sushi but my husband is. He had the Waikiki roll and he enjoyed it. The rolls were big. I don’t remember the name of the roll I had but it was good too.

First off our waitress was hustling.. Where I don’t know and I don’t think she did either as she must have asked us 10 times if we ordered a whatever roll that wasn’t ours. I think it was just her so she really was trying hard. The rolls we did get were all rice and cucumber. The noodles had so many onions.

Best Jajang myun in town. I had 3 tried different brands of the instant one, 2 restaurant-made, and 1 homemade . This is the best one I had so far and they’ll give you a healthy serving. It has a lot of toppings; shrimp, pork, onions, and zucchini. Will be coming back to this restaurant maybe, every month for my favorite comfort food.

Eggdrop soup was good
Tako nigiri was good (it comes with two, I ate one before taking a picture)
The salmon crunch: for some reason I was expecting it to be cool/room temperature but it was hot! It still tasted good when cooled down but it was kindof sweet, kindof like a dessert. The flavours blend well and its good dish to try, it just wasn’t what I was expecting/craving for..

Seseme chicken was pretty ok. We had a big party and they accommodated us.
Other people seemed to like their food so I’ve bumped the overall score to 4, but I felt it was a 3.
They had a new waitress that didn’t know much, and the food took a long time to come out for each person.
We had to flag people down to get some items and refills.
Only two other tables had people at the time

The service was so poor I had to ask few times for juice. There were only 5 tables and the waitress was running around like it was so busy. Service needs to improve. Second the food was like the rural area restaurants. Lack of ingredients, and flavor was off.
