”A recent visit to Ezell’s Chicken in Edmonds with my daughters was a highly satisfactory experience. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and the food was of excellent quality. Service was notably prompt. While the Cajun fries did not perfectly align with expectations, the overall dining experience was very positive. The cleanliness of both the restaurant and the restrooms was also commendable. A particularly meaningful aspect of our visit was the staff’s understanding and graciousness regarding my daughters’ autism, which significantly enhanced our overall impression.”

Ezells makes great spicy chicken, but this location’s franchisee clearly doesn’t know how to make the rolls properly. They don’t let em rise long enough before baking.
Every other location I’ve been to in the last 20 years has nice fluffy rolls. This location’s rolls are too dense, every single time. Not once in nearly a decade have the rolls been made properly. It’s a consistent issue. So it’s obviously the franchisee who doesn’t know how to do it right and doesn’t train the staff properly.
Don’t bother with the regular chicken, it’s average at best. Dont order the sides either, theyre trash. The spicy chicken is great tho. The rolls at most locations are also great.

The spicy chicken had very little spice but overall very good crispy chicken. The beans were fire. They gave me a whole bird for a two piece meal They’re a little slow but totally worth the wait. 4.5 stars.

Don’t always get the correct order. It’s also not consistent with which pieces ( eg: sometimes a 3 piece is 1 breast 2 wings – hardly any meat). They love to give legs, also not much meat. Today ordered mixed, got all dark, 1 small thigh and 2 legs. Ordered 3 mixed white and dark

So good, every bite of it was enjoyed. My next visit I got the fried okra and that was good too.

Ezell’s is the closest to real southern fried chicken you’ll get in Seattle — I particularly liked the friendliness of the staff when I went 9/28 in the evening!
Spicy dark meat was out, but I was kindly informed it would take 20 minutes to cook (not a problem for me, who doesn’t like fresh fried chicken??)!
Chicken was juicy as always! The dining room and bathroom were in a much cleaner state than expectations for fast food (kudos whoever is managing)!

A venerable institution in the area, the Ezelle’s experience is always worth the time, effort, and investment. The chicken never disappoints, the tenders are cooked perfectly, and all are accompanied by their honestly delicious home-style side dishes.
The friendly service with a smile rounds up a great experience.

I like ezells but not this location , I ordered 3 peace of chicken… and I never have problem with the other locations …. This location they don’t let you choose what peace or part of the chicken you want . I don’t like chicken wings … and they refused to give me what peace I want .. looks like they have problem with that. They said if you order three peace , you must take the wing with it , I ended not eating it. Like I said I never have a problem with the other location .. they always let me choose what I want. That’s the only issue that i have , other than this the taste is good.
I updated to 5 starts …. For a good service. Thank you.

Came to try out this chicken establishment and was very disappointed. The food got me sick immediately after tasting a small piece. The chicken smelled like it was around raw chicken. The chicken was dark the crust was crumbling while still still being really hard. The macaroni was stale and tasteless from being in hot box for a long period. Very disgusting food. I wouldn’t recommend this over priced location very disgusting.
