Such a great dining experience. Food was amazing, service was excellent. Staff was friendly and Chef Bass was out on the floor greeting and talking to everyone.

Owner Chef Bass is very attentive to all of his customers. The food is high quality and the atmosphere is wonderful as is the staff. A lovely place to to dine. There are little added touches to the dining experience that will surprise you. We adore this place!

Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish! Chef Bass’s hospitality was second to none—warm, genuine, and truly made us feel like honored guests. The lobster tail was the star of the evening: perfectly cooked, buttery, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was unforgettable. The wait staff was incredibly attentive without being intrusive—always anticipating our needs and ensuring our glasses were never empty. From the ambiance to the service and, of course, the exceptional food, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you Chef Bass, Kim, and crew. I cannot wait to return!!!

For the record, I’m extremely disappointed to have to share our experience with the world. My wife and I loved this place and ate here 4 or 5 times in the last year. I highly doubt we’ll be returning.

New Year’s Eve, and we had a 5 pm reservation. However we misjudged the time and out of respect for their business, called the restaurant to tell them we’d be 10 minutes late. The hostess should have said, “No problem, we’ll see you when you get here.” Instead, she said, “Well, the next seating at your table is at 6:45.”

We arrived at 5:10, and the hostess ignored my wife for a couple of minutes, looking at seating charts before finally sitting us at a table. We got a polite rush job from the server and the staff bussing our table! The staff was just doing what they were told, as the hostess and the chef watched our table so closely that we had bread, salad, entrees, desserts, teas and the check all done by 6:20!! No other table was being rushed out the door like we were. We didn’t create a scene (I wanted to!), we didn’t complain, and we didn’t take it out on our server by shorting her tip. $175 bill, $35 tip. If we were tipping the hostess who checked on us once, made no small talk and cleared plates off the table? She wouldn’t have gotten a nickel of my money!

There’s too many other great restaurants in the area for any establishment to want to risk losing a couple that’s very happy to spend their money on great food and service. But Daniel’s Bistro has lost us.

WOW! First time here. What a surprise, a good friend of my wife recommended we try out her restaurant. When we arrived, parking was perfect, and we walked in to find an intimate setting, just the kind of atmosphere we love, relaxing, well-maintained, and with a bright, cheerful, and accommodating hostess. The staff were the best. Right on point and knew exactly what they were doing and when. As for the food, well, it was
scrumptious, a word I seldom use. The chef sent us soup with bruschetta. I ordered the Tuna Tower appetizer, one of my favorites, and it came with a generous portion. Guests had the Ceaser salad enough to split. I was expecting everything to be a gourmet-sized portion, but to my surprise, it was most generous. I had the seafood Fra diavolo cooked to perfection, and the sauce was to die for. I tried to avoid bread, but I couldn’t leave the wonderful sauce behind. My wife and guest both ordered the Barramundi seafood dish and loved every bite; it was fantastic. We ended our dinner with a tableside Berries Flambe. What a way to go. Bring your favorite wine, and you are set for an evening you won’t be disappointed with, as well as the price. We can’t wait to come back. Great job Chef Bass. Five Stars.

What an amazing birthday dinner!! One of the tastiest and biggest lobster tail I’ve ever had. We ordered their escargot, oysters, and French onion soup to start, which we highly recommend. Loved the decor! The only thing was where we were seated. We dont mind the small table, but the placement of the table was by the kitchen, and we had the staff constantly walking by, which was a bit bothersome. But the great staff, delicious food, and my husband’s company definitely made up for it. It was a very busy Friday night, and the chef even came by to say hi! We would love to come back!!!

Disappointed at our last visit to the Bistro. We’ve been going to this restaurant for years, ever since they had two locations on Broadway.
Our server’s name was Casey. The only time that we interacted with her was in the beginning for the order and at the end for the bill. The gentlemen that brought out the bread, cleaned off the table, refilled the water, and brought out the food were much more pleasant and professional.
We expected more from our server at this type of high-end restaurant, as there is plenty of competition in the Point Pleasant Beach area. We’ll think twice before returning to the Bistro.

The absolute best meal I have had in along time! From the little tomatoe soup & brushetta, the escargot! No one serves that anymore! Delicious! Food, service & atmosphere were 5 star! Can’t wait to come back!
