A few staff members always act annoyed by their job and customers. If you don’t believe that a positive attitude is a job requirement, then get a back office job where you can hide from the world which you appear to hate.
Also, when they have transvestite celebrations, they say you have to walk outside and around the building to use the bathroom, which is likely a code violation.
And finally, the music… yeah, getting coffee shop music correct should be intern level decision making. But alas, it often varies from music which is depressing or inappropriate.
Thankfully it’s the best coffee shop within 2 miles.

Yuck! Prices were crazy. Tasted like bitter flavored ice? Didnt taste any of the flavors it was supposed to have. Totally not worth a quarter of what I spent.

The decor is sparse, colorful, simple and modern. The music plays at just the right decibel level to open your eyes an extra millimeter. The smell is of fresh beans brewing and pure unfiltered newness inhabit the interior ozone. The young lady working behind the counter was pleasant, soft spoken and certainly of the “decaf” variety. The setting was endearing and amazingly calming overall allowing for a momentary escape from the unpredictable beautiful struggle we all endure called LIFE…
I went with a coffee and a delicious looking cranberry muffin that spoke to me from behind the glass. The coffee was pretty good….Not the best I had…but I’ve also tasted the finest beans from the rainforests of Nevada to the dry lake beds of the ancient Himalayan cities. Im no novice. The muffin was like biting into an IKEA pillow for those pillow biters out there. It was immensely fluffy with the perfect infusion of cranberries to give you the burst of flavor you need to provoke a follow up bite.
The menu also included some delicious sounding smoothies which I watched being prepared and would expect nothing but fresh jubilance jumping from tastebud to tastebud after the meeting with your mouth. If you’re in the Johnson City NY area I’d suggest giving #BatchCoffee a try to enhance the quality of your day by 1.23% on average. Who doesn’t want that?

It’s one of my favorite spots in the mall. A very cozy cafe and the coffee tastes amazing! I’m currently a big fan of their scones but their cinnamon rolls are always delicious. I also like the 50% discount early in the morning.

On a Tuesday a bubbly girl with a bowl cut was serving and she had the lights on which gave the place a nice warm glow. She mentioned they have an 80% discount for orders placed before 8am and looked genuinely pained to tell me that they didn’t have any bagels or water because the shipment didn’t come in till later. No worries. I came back Wednesday. A different girl named Alexis was serving. The lights weren’t on and the place felt gross and cold feeling – really turned my social battery off. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese. No mention of the discount which made me a bit sad but maybe it was just for coffee, you know? Then when I finally get my bagel she had toasted it – which I hate and hadn’t been asked about – and she didn’t put the cream cheese on the bagel just put them both in a container for me to do myself. I was shocked but kept my mouth shut because I wanted to leave place with the icky grey lighting. She shoots me a “have a nice day” which then put me in the awkward place of having to return the sentiment when she had basically given me burnt bread and cream cheese to slap together myself. Maybe the coffee is good but I’ll never know.

There’s plenty of parking but the closer spots are hard to get. It’s owned by the same person who owns beer tree (next door)
We got a peanut butter and chocolate scone and a cinnamon roll today. The cinnamon was way too sweet. I had to give up. The peanut butter and chocolate scone had its peanut butter on top of it. It was a messy eating situation. We usually loved scones, but we couldn’t finish this one today.
The coffee tasted alright.
The person who worked there was very friendly. The space felt bright and clean.
It is on a superb spot as Lourdes gym(next door) is going full force attracting members. I hope the shop can up its game soon.

Great coffee. It’s smaller with more edgy former-factory vibe and doesn’t have the food options of the main location, but the coffee is still excellent. Love that there’s a Batch Coffee in this location.
