Ordered the Thanksgiving Turkey Sandwich, the monthly special. Terrible. First off it’s a sub not a sandwich. It was a cold sub with warm turkey. Nothing else was warm. All I could taste was smoke. We may try again but very disappointing. A good sandwich (which implies bread not a sub bun) would be very easy to accomplish, this needs some tweaking for sure. I never send food back, I will be taking this home to feed the dogs if they’ll eat it, it’s that bad.

I am in town for a few days and was looking for a place to get a bite to eat. I was worried at first that this might be a little to high class for me. I thought the food would be pricy. I was suprized to find an extremely welcoming staff and atmosphere with exceptionally well priced venue items. I got the Harley chick sandwich, tater kegs and potato chips. The chips are made in house and came out warm with a generous dusting of salt, I loved that. The tater kegs were fresh, hot and full of flavor. I was very impressed. Mu sandwich was well built, hot and just delicious. The whole meal exceeded my expectations. They were busy but the two bar tenders made me feel like I was the only one there. Top notch service. 10/10 I would recommend this place. Before I ordered my phone I questioned how the chicken tenders were breaded. My server was unable to give me a definitive answer so rather than allowing me to wonder if I would enjoy it or not she had the kitchen bring me one out to sample. She said “this way, next time, you will know if you like them or not.” I did, in fact, love it. But I had already ordered the rest.

After taking our pet to the vet, we stopped into Birch Tavern for dinner. We sat on the patio since it was a nice day. The food was delivered fast and was delicious. The service was friendly, and the overall experience was good. My wife had the birch club sandwich, and I had the boneless chicken wings. They were comparable in size to Roosters. I enjoyed our experience there.

(update – my wife left her purse in the bathroom and the staff found it and kept it safe. Also our server (Pat) has been so attentive we wrongly assumed he was the owner). Lots of parking, (for seniors – zero steps), great food and service, and beautiful, big, fully shaded, dog friendly patio! We especially appreciate being able to have our dogs with us. That was our reason for coming in the first place, and now the food and friendly service made the Birch Tavern our favorite!

I totally forgot to take photos but I WILL be back!!! Soooo many good things to say about this place!! Excellent, lively and beautiful atmosphere!! All the food the 3 of us got was fantastic but I win with my boneless bourbon wings!! The Birch BLT was awesome. Fries and philly sandwich is also a favorite of one of my friends who comes here often! It was my and a third friend’s first time.
The service was flawless and extremely kind and understanding. We took forever ordering and then enjoyed ourselves there so much, we WAY overstayed our welcome but no one gave us a hard time. You guys just got a customer for life! I have over 57M views as a local google guide and WILL be telling everyone to come check out the perfect menu and tavern!!! Home run!! Hope to be back next week and WILL take photos to post!! ❤️❤️❤️

Okay, I’ve loved this bar for 30 years. It’s been a comfort and a refuge. It’s a huge part of my community. Today a ordered a $9.00 grilled cheese – and this is what The Birch served me. A single slice of cheese on plain white bread.
You can, and have done better. Please, please make this a place I can be proud of once more.

This was our first time here. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. The french fries were delicious and fresh. It felt like we were eating real food. Not super processed warmed up in the back food. We were there during a OH state game, so the tavern was noisy, but we were still easily able to have a conversation at our table. Our server was friendly, attentive, but not overbearing. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. Our biggest take away was the fresh quality of the food. That is what will have us returning in the future.

Wife and I decided to try something different and stopped in. I’m not a drinker so I typically have zero interest in bars of any kind but it looked pretty good in the pictures. We were not disappointed. Ordered pretzel bites, a rib eye philly with fries, and an apple butter chicken sandwich with onion rings and it was all delicious. The apple butter chicken sandwich especially was banging. The guy who greeted us and waited our table was extremely friendly and welcoming and the whole atmosphere of the place seemed fun and down to earth. Will definitely be back!

Service and drinks was awful today with the female bartender that wanted to argue with us instead of making our drinks right.
My husband and I have been regular customers for years and spend a lot of money in there every month. Not to mention how many friends we bring into your bar. Today we ordered the same drinks we’ve ordered for more than 10 yrs and they came half the size they were a week ago and didn’t taste good. We asked the female bartender who made them why and she immediately got nasty and started arguing with us. Said they’ve always been small because corporate is watching her. Didnt offer to make it right just wanted to argue. We just wanted her to acknowledge it was wrong and stop arguing with regular customers that spend a lot of money there every week . That didn’t happen. She wasn’t much better last Sunday when we were there. She’s a horrible bartender
