Apparently they can only 6 people together, the owner became extremely rude and aggregated when we asked if we could slide 1 more table to accommodate a party of 8. His response was “We are not doing this”
Two of our party had to sit on the otherside of the room, The owner continued to look around with an irritated look on his face, never again to interact with our party. Lessons in hospitality would be a huge improvement for him.
Our server, was a wonderful young lady who was very polite and attentive, quick to refill drinks, and check in on us. She definitely was the highlight of our visit.
Food- the rolls that were served were rock hard, like they have sat out for days, I personally had the Calamari Diavolo, which Calamari was very chewy, nowhere near tender, the sauce was heavy with garlic, but zero heat, as the name suggests.
They seem to be very fond of their sign on the door, as the owner as well as the lady behind the bar both referred to “Our sign on the door says” unfortunately this information is not shared on the website or Facebook page.

Incredible cuisine. My family came to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We did not have a reservation but thankfully were seated upon entering and didn’t have to wait. Our server was absolutely delightful and highly knowledgeable about the menu. She had given prompt service and we did not have to wait long for our drinks, salads, soups, and entrees. The fare was exquisite and each bite was satisfying. I am always happy to come here when I am in Door County. It’s a must-have when you are in town. Great job all around!

We went for my husband’s birthday dinner and it couldn’t have been better! The food was amazing and the service was perfect. Rachael was attentive and friendly, and the drink special that night (Irish Maid)was refreshing. We prefer to eat early, so we got there right at 5 and were seated immediately

Great spot for a romantic dinner. My wife and I are in town for our wedding anniversary. We love Italian food and searched Google for a place and found this. The reviews didn’t lie, Trattoria is fantastic. We started with the soft cheese plate. The goat cheese and pesto were perfect together. Great Caesar salad and pasta too. Well worth a stop!

Amazing food! Really good service! We ordered the pesto with goat cheese for an appetizer. Dinner was lamb shank, and chicken & spinach ravioli and then tiramasu for desert!!
Definitely take the time to come and enjoy some wonderful Italian food. Suggest coming early as no reservations and it fills up fast!.

Always dine here on special occasions. The entrees of Lamb Shank and Mostaccioli Rapido/Italian Sausage, along with Fritto di Calamari as an appetizer, Beer Soup/Salad, Drinks, ending with Creme Brulee and Titamisu. Everything from entrance welcome,
seating, atmosphere, waitress attention was superb. A true Northern Italian experience.
For the customers who have had an unpleasant experience, apparently have no knowledge of Italian culture.
Maybe, they misread the name on the window as Fazoli’s or
Olive Garden?

Food, drinks, service were amazing. We waited 45 minutes for a table. Well worth it. Ravioli was wonderful. Duck in Madeira sauce was tender and flavorful. The Italian coffee was the equivalent of dessert. But we ordered dessert as well! A wonderful experience.

Had a really good dinner. The pasta was amazing and would love to come back. Get there early so you don’t have to wait on the waiting list. The brewery next door is good to check out too.

Although no reservations are accepted, and they do not take groups larger than six, there is no restaurant in Door County that pays such great attention to the details of service and the quality and preparation of food the way Dal Santos does.
By far the best restaurant in the county.
