This is the philosophy that has stuck with the company and is the backbone of Giant Pizza. Frank Abdullovski came to the United States in 1962 determined to live the “American Dream”. After years of working in the mills Frank Abdullovski and his brother, Ferik, saw that very opportunity when they bought Giant Pizza, a small 900 square foot take-out pizza shop in Danielson, CT, in 1986.

I’d love to give this place a higher rating; the food is pretty consistent, always hot, and sandwiches are good.
But the timing takes 2 stars away. I don’t know if the staff need to be more efficient, or there needs better direction from management, but I know if we do take out (even mid week) it will take an hour. Even a sandwich with onion rings: always told “15 minutes” and it’s always 30! I need to order at 4:40pm if we want it by 6pm!
Either way, they have decent food, so I can’t say we won’t come back!

I have no idea what any of these negative reviews are about. I brought my team of employees here to celebrate our victory over yonder there in Rhode Island and we have never had such great service. The employee behind the counter was so nice to us, he even washed my truck while we ate our finely prepped and cooked food. We will solely be eating here for every meal in the future. Thank you giant pizza!

I ordered a vegan cheese pizza with mushrooms last night. They were very busy and I was a little worried about the wait but the very friendly young man said 20 minutes. It was ready when I came back but he hadn’t heard me say vegan cheese (I’m sure that I was being too quiet for the amount that was going on at the time). He personally threw one in the oven quickly and I was out in less than ten minutes. It was delicious. I hope the owner does everything he can to keep the current staff. They are way faster and friendlier. I very much appreciate that they carry vegan cheese, not only because it’s a rare option in this area but because Giant’s has always been one of my favorite restaurants.

Their food is always good. The only thing I can say about them that I’m not 100%on is the grinders. Even asking for extra cheese , you only get a very thin layer, I’m a cheese person and love a thick layer of cheese and also the meat u don’t get a whole lot, they could be more generous with that on grinders! We buy from them numerous times a month and love their pizza ,calzones and other food they’ve got a great assortment of foods.

Having the perspective of both employee and customer, I am very confident in saying that Giant Pizza is one of the best casual restaurants in the area. Besides, what other pizza shop as a drive-thru? That’s awesome. Usually once or twice a week I stop in for some slices at lunch and I have not yet been disappointed.

Dined in today and noticed that the restaurant was pretty busy on a Monday . The front counter woman named Michele was very pleasant and got our food out pretty quick and brought all the condiments to us . The food was really good hot and fresh . The manager Makayla came out and had a brief conversation with us she was also very pleasant. It was a wonderful dine in experience and will definitely be returning. q

I order from here every week. Today I placed an order and when I got my order my steak grinder was missing. When I called it took them ten minutes to figure out whether or not I even had ordered from them before. The girl who answered had no idea how to do her job. In the end, they ended up delivering to me a cold steak sandwich that was totally not how I ordered it. I didn’t see the point to call them back again.
