Needs some MSG.
Unsure if it was due to how busy it was, if it is the holiday, or my white name, but the food needed some umami. Food wasn’t bad and my kids loved it but growing up with big bold asian flavors left me wanting more.

Friendly staff and big portions though, I ordered 4 different items for my family of 4 and we only really needed one meal to feed everyone.

Family owned and operated by a very gracious husband and wife team who, with the help of their kitchen staff and servers, deliver outstanding food and service. We have been here numerous times, both for lunch and for dinner, and have always come away satisfied from the experience. Ever a favorite is the Hot & Sour Soup. The Avocado Crab Stick Salad is a winner as are all things Tempura. Luncheon specials are Mon. thru Fri. 11-3 pm. There is a large bar area adjoining the restaurant.

We ordered two items (house fried rice and chicken wings) and paid for our order online. Fifteen minutes later, we went to go pick it up. The order was not ready. Twenty minutes after arriving at Red Mango to pick up our order, it wasn’t ready. After waiting for 40 minutes, we decided to cancel the order and leave. This is unacceptable and ridiculous for it to take almost an hour to NOT fulfill such a small order. We are NEVER going to Red Mango again.

Noodles are moist and flavorful, but what a mid experience for a pu pu platter. No flavor at all! Just got us by because it was late, but overall, it was a disappointment. Didn’t have the sushi, but others in the place seemed to be getting that mainly.

Today was our first time here. And unfortunately, I don’t like leaving bad reviews. However, they gave my husband the wrong drink. Took them a long time to get to us. They didn’t look busy. I got extra hot shrimp and I didn’t order that. I asked for duck sauce, the guy walks off and I see him get three things of duck sauce, delivers them to another table, and I never got mine. I did ask the lady to get the duck sauce. I ordered five minutes ago. My pork fried rice had three sprinkles of meat in it, and I had to pay 4 extra dollars for that! And it had no flavor. Duck Sauce once that came, had no flavor. Lady was nice but the guy doesn’t seem to like people. Do not recommend and will never go back! Very disappointed!

On Sunday afternoon, I visited the bar area for lunch. Upon arrival, the bartender quickly asked for my drink order, to which I requested a menu first. After reviewing the menu, I decided on a martini and a sushi roll. The bartender promptly delivered both the drink and the food. However, after serving me, she did not check in to see if I needed anything else until I had finished my meal and was ready for the check.

I found this lack of follow-up to be disappointing, especially since I was craving water due to the spiciness of the sushi. I felt uncomfortable asking for water, as the bartender was seated, like a customer, at the bar conversing with a couple throughout my meal. I was surprised that she didn’t inquire about my satisfaction with the food or offer further assistance during my time there. I ended up trying to ease the spiciness of the sushi with my martini, which was not an ideal experience.

While the food itself was enjoyable, the overall lack of attentiveness left me feeling undervalued as a customer, and I regret to say that I will not be returning.
