Social media made me try this place because I was told it’s authentic and I like to support small business. I didn’t like the flavors of the tortillas, meat, or salsa. Many other reviewers seemed to like it a lot. Maybe I’ll try it later, but it’s hard to give a spot a second chance when eating out is expensive and there’s a lot of reliable places that don’t miss on the first try or repeat visits.

Omaiga! The lady’s making the stuff have that traditional apron on. So you know this place is fire. Very welcoming and friendly people. We placed the order we got gordita de chile verde chicharron Chile rojo chicharron. Burrito de desebrada gordita de tinga de Pollo en agorita de picadillo Verde. Every single item was so good. Authentic. Like your grandma used to make. Trust me, make that drive you won’t regret it. We’re definitely coming back for more because there’s so much on the menu and I want to try every single item!

We found this gem on our way back to Vegas from Valley of Fire and are so glad we did! It’s a little hole-in-the-wall spot, but don’t let that fool you. The dining area was bright, spacious, and about half full when we walked in — lots of seating and a welcoming vibe.
I ordered a birria gordita with queso and it was so good, I immediately ordered a second one — totally worth it! We also got a cheese and bean quesadilla for the kids, which they loved.
If you’re looking for delicious and authentic Mexican food, this place is a must-stop. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in the area!

Super authentic Mexican food, not your Roberto’s style Southern California Mexican food. I had the chorizo and potato and chorizo and bean burritos. These were skinny and tasty, with incredible home made tortillas. I wished I would have tried the birria tacos, they looked and smelled so good.
I went on a Sunday afternoon, the place was packed, but the service was quick and the people were very nice. The restaurant was clean. Lots of treats for the ninos.
The only thing I didn’t like was the parking lot, but that’s normal for this part of Vegas.

I recently ate at Gorditas Betancourt and I have to say WOW. Their gorditas are absolutely delicious and truly authentic. You can taste the homemade flavor in every bite. The masa is soft but perfectly cooked and the fillings are packed with flavor.
It reminded me of real traditional gorditas like my grandmother use to make . Yumm

During our taco tour of Las Vegas, we stumbled across this gem. Walking into this simple, no-frills setting with locals eating mouth watering pozole filled to the brim of their cazuelas and the background noise of telenovelas on the TV, I knew that I was in the right place for authentic Mexican. The birria gordita, puerco con salsa verde and carne con papas en salsa roja were truly remarkable. Each gordita was moist and not dry. Their meat was beaming with flavors from obvious hours of marinating with Abuelita love and attention. Simply delicious. Although I was on a tour for the best tacos, their gorditas won the day. Will certainly be back.

Everybody was so hospitable they have very friendly service my grandson turned eight they didn’t have no cakes but they came out and surprise them with a little chocolate pinguino with a match LOL so cute and he was so surprised but on top of that the food was delicious we got a dinga chicken tostada it was delicious the flavors just bursted on your taste buds the salsa with spicy but had so much flavor the picaditas we’re tasty I got the salsa with the cheese and beans I got a little burrito which they’re just right it’s not too much that you can’t finish specially for the kids Papa’s with I got a little burrito which they’re just right it’s not too much that you can’t finish specially for the kids Papa’s with meat and salsa Verde and queso birria tacos and gorditas with Chile Verde, everything was so delicious !
