Archer’s artful gathering spot is in Tysons’ emerging Scotts Run South, at the foot of the McLean Silver Line Metro station. The casually hip boutique hotel bar is underscored by a grand central bar, several cozy niches, an alfresco patio and a shuffleboard table. After work or before play, AKB’s craft cocktails and shareable bites (or Archer’s favorite burger topped with pimento cheese) hit the spot. And morning meetings are that much better with à la carte breakfast and specialty coffee.

One of our favorite bars in the Tysons/McLean area. It’s usually not very crowded and quieter than other bars. There are not many items on the menu, so so far we like what we have tried (chicken wings, burgers, pizza, roasted veggie). Cocktails are pretty good. Overall, we enjoy our time here & would recommend to people living nearby! (Follow me on IG ➡️ miss_dawang)
They took quite a while to even acknowledge I was there which was off-putting. But, after going there for the three days of my stay, I found that they were really cool.
The food…. the wings were overly saucy so much so that I had to give them back. The Bleu cheese pizza is divine!
This time, I had the Steak Frites and finished with the Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert. Both were absolutely delicious
definitely a 10/10!
A special shoutout to UG, my bartender for the evening. He truly goes above and beyond . His cocktails and mocktails are some of the best I’ve ever had. You can really see the attention to detail in everything he does. Can’t wait to come back again soon!
Very long review ahead.
Where do I start? I tried the restaurant + drinks a first time and I wasn’t impressed at all – when you charge 24 dollars for a big chunk of iceberg submerged in dressing next to a tiny piece of meat. Nevertheless, I wanted to give this place a second chance, which led to a bigger disappointment. The poke had 2 pieces of tuna that were also submerged in dressing. And I got overcharged for the alcohol. I explained the situation – the manager who tried to put on his apologetic look (but he didn’t actually care at all)- didn’t do anything about it and had a very condescending approach (he wasn’t gonna do anything about it from the start apparently).
Even 1 star is too much for this place. The first of many if the service + the food continues to be this bad.
I talked with another manager the next day because my room was also charged for a meal I didn’t buy – he cleared it up and also rectified the price of the drink. Still a very bad experience overall.
