The only good thing this place has going is the drive thru option where you can order from the buffet. The food is NOT good. It has potential to be but no love is put into the food. They served brick hard cake.. something so easily to make and the lack of seasoning on the sides is a shame.

This buffet is not for everyone. It serve specific type of people. I hate to give it one star but the food is not good. Service is nice tho, waiter refill my drinks constantly.
1. everything is too salty and greasy 2. the only good thing is fried chicken but it is not marinated and everyone tackle that quick 3. vegetables are straight from the can 4. they serve mystery fish as Catfish. It is not Catfish, it is not some cheap Asian Swai fish either, maybe 2 months old Tilapia.
If you have an old Mississippi taste bud, like extreme portion of salt and sugar and greasy food, then you will like it here. If you have a normal taste bud then no.

The food and service was very good and the restaurant was clean. Every employees that I came in contact with was pleasant.
I went around 1:30pm, after lunch crowd. The buffet was very clean and the food was fresh. I loved the yams and the friend chicken was delicious. The desert bar could use some work; not much to choose from. Also didn’t like that lunch was $14 and had to pay for drink separately. That’s quite a bit for lunch even buffet especially if you don’t consume a lot of food.
The only thing I saw was that they could remodel women’s bathroom. It’s very old but it was clean.
Seems they also have a separate building beside the main restaurant. I didn’t notice hours but it was t open when I was there.
I recommend having lunch here if in the area. It’s West Jackson but very safe!

This food is good ole southern home cooking. If you think this food is not good, then YOU CAN’T COOK. It can be hotter but if enough people come out & patronize these people then I know the food can be steaming hot. We have forgotten good ole southern cooking.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The place was packed when I got there. When I got inside the buffet was just pure pitiful. No good selections at all. The fish tasted fishy and not a lot of options for the salad bar. Even the drinks were the worst.

Food is just mediocre. Nothing to brag about. Everything was ok until the roaches came out. Sitting there talking after eating and roaches were crawling on the table. I felt like throwing up. Brought it to the managers attention and she called the owner because I asked for a refund. He wasn’t willing to give my money back until I said I took pictures of the roaches. The manager verified the pics and he says give her half her money back. Don’t ever have to worry about me eating at this roach motel again.

Loved the atmosphere! The only thing is I wish the buffet was the larger so it wouldn’t be so crowded around the buffet bar. Other than that the food was delicious.
