This place is amazing! I went in to look at the menu on my way home and met the owner Gable, so inviting and personable. The restaurant was very nice and clean. I ordered the spider and American dream rolls plus the combo hibachi entree filet and chicken, which were all excellent. My boyfriend loved the food also so we are bringing our friends there this weekend so that they can enjoy this great new hibachi and sushi establishment too. Please give it a try they won’t disappoint.

I don’t usually leave reviews but needed to give a big thumbs up on the revitalization of this restaurant and the new owner. Immediately greeted by Gable who I assume is the owner and he immediately made our group feel right at home like family. Hibachi chef and servers were also very friendly and the food and service were great!

Came here with my wife and kids for Valentine’s Day. Great experience, amazing food, very clean and bright inside. Very kid friendly, the staff was so accommodating and the chef was hilarious. The owner came around to each table after they finished and spoke to every guest. This is definitely my new go to hibachi restaurant.

Awesome sushi. Been coming here since they opened and haven’t looked back. We did hibachi for the first time tonight with our kids and everything was delicious. Our kids even ate the food!
Service has a bit slow but that’s due to his entire waitstaff quitting bc they get more money on unemployment. So I understand and it didn’t effect the tip or quality of food. Everything was delicious.

My family and I came here for the first time recently as we love hibachi. We are so happy that we found Red Koi and decided to give it a try! The ambiance is very nice and the restaurant is kept immaculate. The hibachi chef was very entertaining and we enjoyed our dinner very much. Highly recommended this restaurant and will definitely be back!

Such an amazing replacement and much needed hibachi and sushi restaurant in St. James. We patiently awaited the opening post pandemic.
I called you inquire about in door dining and was charmed from the get go by Gable! Gable is a character and the life of the party.
The food is stellar, fresh fish, barrel aged soy sauce and perfectly pickled ginger.
The best sushi to be served at this location in the last 8 years we have been in the area.

WARNING…….WORST EXPERIENCE…,,,Horrible Food …Terrible Service…. Arrived on time and was seated. By the time the owner Gable came to our table to take our drink order and food order we waited 50 minutes with no drinks or food in front of us. Drinks came out after my soup and salad had to ask for water again. Appetizers came out while the hibachi chef was cooking. Owner complained about his short staff and sob story. It’s not how you do business. They won’t be in business long if the Board of Health doesn’t shut him down first.

Noticed the “GRAND OPENING” sign on my way home from work, so my boyfriend & I decided to try this new hibachi spot on this week’s date night. Boy, are we glad we did! Hands down THE BEST hibachi we have ever had! The owner, Gable, was the absolute most welcoming and friendliest person! He recommended his favorite apps & hibachi combo, which we agreed to, and we were certainly not disappointed! You must order the ROCK SHRIMP! Sooooo delicious! This place deserves every bit of support! Trust me, this is your new hibachi spot!!

We love Red Koi!! My husband Jared and I get takeout from them every Friday night; the food is always consistently delicious. The filet mignon is always cooked perfectly to order and so tender, the sushi is delicious, every meal we’ve had from them has been outstanding.

Been here several times, always had a good experience. Hibachi is always good and the same for the sushi. Gable who is the owner is always a pleasure. If you like hibachi you’ll like this place.
