Awesome food and great service! EDIT: Went last night for the first time in about 2 weeks due to being too busy, they have been bought out by Dos Maguey’s. They have changed the food and we could not eat it. The beef nachos had so much salt that I could not eat it all. The beans and rice were awful. What really broke the straw was that the chips taste like they bought them at a discount store. Sorry, but why change a good thing.

I was traveling home and needed a quick bite to eat going the back way through Ringgold. I remembered a good Mexican Restaurant on the main drag but found out it was closed. I saw a local cop and asked where the best Mexican restaurant in town is and he directed me to this restaurant.
At first glance you wouldn’t think much because it’s in a strip mall and not very big or have all the fancy esthetic stuff but the food was very good.
I grew up in Texas near the Mexico border so I know authentic Mexican food and this is it.
I saw the reviews about slow service but my experience with nothing but exceptional. They were very friendly, attentative, and served exceptional service while I was there. The place was not very full but it was later in the evening.
You will find plenty of parking that is for sure even for campers etc the lot is so big.
The food was delicious and cooked just right. I just had the cheese Enchiladas with beans and rice this trip but will post the next trip soon too.
I would recommend this place and tell them I sent you.

We had a wonderful experience at Vallarta this past Sunday afternoon. Enrique was a fantastic host, and our server was very attentive. The food was great and fresh!
Enrique went the extra mile and made flowers with a napkin and a straw wrapper for our kids. They loved it!

Stopped by on our way back to Kentucky and had the best experience we’ve had at a Mexican restaurant. Our server was so nice and funny! Wish we would have got his name but he did great! The food was also so amazing and full of flavor. Would recommend if you’re driving through or are local!

This place is special! From walking in the door to being seated. The staff is amazing. They are very positive and ready to serve. The food comes out with a beautiful presentation and the flavors are wonderful. They have the best salsa that I have ever ate.

Very very nice! I had no idea this little establishment was there and I was not disappointed when I visited them for lunch! Their portion sizes are excellent as well as the price tag.. and the food is delectable!
You can tell it’s all made in house and their homemade hot sauce?? To die for! I will be visiting here anytime I find myself in downtown Ringgold — and I suggest you do too! 10/10 would highly recommend.

My friends and I stopped in here on 7/5 needing a quick bite. The service was quick and we didn’t want for anything. I ordered their chicken fajita nachos. They were the best chicken fajita nachos I’d ever had. The chicken, peppers and onions were all thinly sliced and cooked well. Everyone was jealous. But they liked their lunches as well.
I must commend the restaurant owner. Or at least, I presume she is. She made it a point to drop by 2 if not 3 times just to make sure we were enjoying everything. She was very genuine and we appreciated her for it. Highly recommend!
