The customer service was amazing! The salsas were nice, and the food portions were extremely generous. However… the food had no flavor. The beans tasted like reconstituted ones, store bought tortillas. The rice had no flavor, salt and pepper couldn’t save it. I wanted to like it more than I did, but, couldn’t. And the price was on the higher end for this type of food. Would I recommend? Nah. Sorry. To the girl at the register – you’re cool, and are the reason I didn’t rate this place a 1 star.

Adelita’s Mexican Food is an absolute gem in Hurricane.

The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and the comforting aroma of fresh, homemade dishes. The Tuesday Special (Beef Tacos) was flavourful, vibrant, and clearly made with care.

Whether you’re fueling up before a day of exploring or winding down after an adventure, Adelita’s hits the spot. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and consistently delicious plates make it a must-visit.

If you’re in Hurricane and craving authentic, satisfying Mexican food, this is the place.

We have a place near Zion and have eaten here at least 5 times since it’s opening. Always fresh, hot and delish! My favorite is the bar of fresh veg, sauces and spices. So incredibly good!! Don’t miss this one 🙂

Adelitas Mexican Restaurant is an absolute gem! Their queso birria tacos are on another level – hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. The flavor, the texture, everything about them is just perfect. What really sets this place apart, though, is the salad bar with all the sauces. Each one is packed with flavor, but the green sauce is a true standout – I highly recommend pairing it with the birria tacos instead of the consommé. It takes the whole experience up a notch. If you’re craving authentic, flavorful Mexican food, Adelitas is a must-visit.

The service was good. The food was adequate. We got the special. It was precooked in microwave. So mine came out cold. Otherwise the flavor was very good when I took the leftovers home and cooked it again it was magnificent first lesson, don’t serve cold food. A few seconds more it would have been very good like I said before. Of course I’ll give them one more chance. We’ll see how they do on their next review

We stopped here for lunch last year and loved it so we made a stop this year too during our Utah trip. The fish tacos , quesadillas and enchiladas were delicious. Love their salsa bar which has a great variety of salsas from mild to spicy flavors. Not a very fancy place but great food.

I’m only giving 3 stars because normally I come here to enjoy some bomb menudo but for some reason today 8/16/25, they didn’t have any. I don’t know if it’s because of the cook because I ordered a huarache instead and when I brought it home the entire bottom masa part was basically a tostada at that point because it was cooking for too long. Almost burnt taste. Also ordered birria tacos and those were good. Makes me think about not coming here anymore because of my experience today though.

Edit: Owner not taking responsibility and cracking joke after I took the pic of a clearly burnt bottom is crazy. Change to 1 star. I’ll be getting my menudo from my second fave spot for now on

We were in the mood for Mexican food, and this couldn’t have been better. Asada was cooked perfectly for the tacos, and the salsa bar they have next to the fountain machine had just about everything we needed. The camarones diabla were *spicy* but tasted phenomenal! Definitely recommend swinging by here
