The bartender and the space takes the cake. I think his name was Jake. Best Jack and Cokes and told funny stories too. I got a burger and it was delicious. There was a large group of us fishing but only ones in at the time. Jake was fast and an excellent cook. I don’t expect much up at a tiny hole in the wall place like that but I would drive the 3 hours from McCall to go there again. Cool hang. A+. Cool people.

Truly a gem in the mountains. The new owner is an actual chefs that makes amazing, gourmet food. He is also a certified Neapolitan pizza chef and frequently makes hand made pizzas. It’s worth the visit.

Always great food, good variety. Lots of activity all the time. Always consistent with hours and that’s very important for visitors when there is no other options in town. Makes you feel like a local!

Always a pleasure to visit along with a cold beer after a long drive just to get there. I was sadden to hear about the previous owner dieing, especially from throat cancer, he was a good Marine. I did not get the new owner’s name, I will make it my priority to get to know her name on my next time I visit there again. To bad that the wifi was down, hope it is working by now.

If you have never been to yellowpine you have got to check it out. There is not many places like this in the world. The whole town looks like you are still back in the old mining days. But you go into any place here you are welcomed by very friendly faces and great food and drinks. It is a hidden town full of amazing things to see and do. This is a must do for people that are into older towns and seeing were idaho kind of started. Add this to your bucket list of things to do. Attention snowmobilers and skiers. I rode my snowmobile from warm lake to yellowpine. Was told you could not do that anymore but it was a beautifully groomed trail with lots of play spots on the way.

Old style tavern in an mountain town. Service was friendly and beers were cold. The bar has a long history and it shows it. Definitely worth a stop.
