Food was delicious. Penne pasta was cooked perfectly, the swordfish special was incredible- perfect cook and covered with a great sauce.
The service was excellent from the time we walked in until we left.
I gave it a 4 for atmosphere because it was a bit noisy for my taste but it is a family restaurant

I have enjoyed dining at NIK since they opened. The food is absolutely fabulous and the owner is even better. I brought a group of 16 people for dinner this past week and we were easily accommodated. The food as usual was exceptional. It was the first time dining at NIK for a few people in our group and they are excited for a return visit in the near future. Thank you again Frank for another wonderful meal and experience.

We recently had Nik’s restaurant cater a funeral luncheon for 30 people. Food was delicious, hot , and portions right. Nick himself called me and advised the menu that would travel well and taste good. It was perfect many attendees went back for seconds. I would highly recommend visiting the restaurant too.

The owner of this place is the worst. He cannot stand criticism. The pizza is bland and overpriced. Even he admits pizza is better at Fox (check out his responses), and I think at Mario’s as well. Plus, Mario’s Italian food is much more authentic. Do not waste your time. This place is not authentic, but charges you as if it were. You can tell the food is frozen. If it is not, then it is just old.

Tried twice. Once we had kids, and they said we do not really have a kids menu, and almost looked like they wanted us to leave. We waited a few years and decided to try again. Just the wife and I. They were not very welcoming. They made us wait a bit before telling us they had no tables, you can sit at the bar. They were very rude. I do not recommend to anyone looking to try it.

This is a friendly neighborhood place that everybody should go to when they’re hungry but don’t go if you’re not hungry because you’ll have too much left over.

I had the Sausage and Pepper sandwich with fries. And the fries were really good as was the sandwich.

My wife had this spaghetti and meatball and could not finish it. We also had started with the brushettta, which was different than any other brushetta I had before, but we liked it.

Frank the owner is an incredible chef who goes out of his way to make sure all guests are happy. I’ve been coming here for years and can honestly say there is no better quality Italian restaurant in the region.

I have been to NIKs in Berryville many times for dinner, Bday celebrations and other get together ‘s. I know Frankie (Owner) personally and he is a proud Italian chef and is very passionate about his profession and puts a heartfelt ingredient in every dish coming out of the kitchen.
I rarely provide reviews good or bad but reading some of the negative reviews by some jerks that make it a habit of negativity.
If I have a meal that I’m unhappy with, I just don’t go back to the establishment and would not go on media to vent my displeasure.
My “grandmother” always said ” If you don’t have something nice to say then say nothing”.

I wouldn’t eat here again. I went once, and tried the pizza after a friend’s recommendation. The flavors were great… The staff was also ok… But afterwards both my lady and myself had gastrointestinal issues that arise from a lack of cleaniness. It’s several days later and symptoms are just starting to wean off.

Edit for owner response:

Thank you, because yes, we did have symptoms starting roughly a day after eating there. My date and I both had the same symptoms (around the same time frame), and the only dietary similarities was eating at your restaurant together that day.

So if what you say is true, then the next possible culprit is your staff. It was not busy and we barely interacted with the waiter outside of his duties as we were in our own discussion.

And thank you for noticing, I do leave negative reviews mainly because they speak louder then positive ones. It’s called risk assessment when you make any type of decision, I’d prefer to hear the worst things people have said and use my own judgement instead of trusting a blanket, 5 star everything, empty text review that tells me nothing about the product or service.

I believe I commented on them in a favorable/neutral way yet you still try to personally attack me instead of taking a look at my concern and attempting to see if it had any validity to it before dismissing it. Typical of a small town, small business owner that doesn’t understand what customer service actually means while operating in a customer service industry.

Nearly died. Be careful eating their soup or salads. I nearly choked while eating some of their minestrone soup. It contained a midsize bay leaf among the noodles and other ingredients. It was on the spoon with other ingredients and slid down my throat and got stuck. I was unable to cough it up at the table. So I went into the men’s room where I was able to regurgitate it up to the top of my throat where I was able to pinch the end of it and pull it out. I could have died had it lodged deeper in my throat and blocked my airway.
