I called to ask a question about one of their sushi rolls. I have a shellfish allergy, they confirmed I shouldn’t eat but offered to replace it with another protein or vegetable. I told them I was door dashing, so said he would remember my name and what I really wanted. They even called to confirm it was me once I put the order in. Good hibachi and Poke. The food is well prepared and the place is very clean. The bathrooms are spotless as well. This is a small, family owned restaurant. The wife of the owner makes little bouquets of plastic flowers from straws and soda bottles that are pretty impressive.

People of minority descent do not come here. I came here on a slow day. They did not acknowledge my presence and had me. Wait and stand there for 10 minutes. And then when I moved closer to the register, they came over but still no greeting. No courteous interaction at all. A very deadpan expression…

Every time I come here I vow to take a picture of my food. And then I look down and it has disappeared…in my belly…quicker than I can think about it! THAT’S how much I’ve enjoyed it. I really like that they have so many Asian food options from poke to noodles to rice to vegetarian to meats to seafood! My only nitpick would be that ambiance is more fast-food like, but that’s probably why orders are so quick after you place them! Everyone seems to enjoy their food here and the staff is always pleasant and helpful. For a little town like New Bern, I’m happy to have ECAR here with such a diverse Asian menu!

First time here, good tasty hibachi it wasn’t anything fancy but it was fresh hot and can’t beat the price $8 for a filling amount of food. They have a great selection of poke bowls and make your own options also. Drink selection is limited but a good stop when your craving a quick bite of Chinese food.

First time trying this place. Appears to be family run….so that is a plus. I ordered the soba and egg rolls, both were really good. Actually some of the better egg rolls I have had in the area. Even though it is titled/named ‘Asian’ it is not really a fusion, heavily leaning towards Japanese. Very friendly and food was hot and quick even though they were busy. I dined in….it is more of a fast food style restaurant, but clean and nice.
