My wife and I stopped by for lunch here last weekend and we had a very good experience. Highly recommend this place for authentic Mexican food. We ordered the Habanero Bowl and Fish and Shrimp Tacos and it was delicious. The food paired really well with the trio of mild / medium / hot sauces. The service and the ambience was very good. Prices match the portion sizes. Will be going back for more.

First time here, grabbed a quick lunch to go with a co-worker. Ordered the steak bowl, pork tamal, chicken tamal,super burrito and a horchata. Good flavor on the meat bowl, especially with the guacamole which was extra. Tamales were ok, dough was a little dry. Horchata was not bad, just watered down a lil bit. Needed more condensed milk. The total cost for both of us was $46 dollars. A little too pricey for the amount of food we received. Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️.

Ordered the steak burrito tasted bland. Halfway through my meal I found a long black hair in my food. I pulled the manager to the side told him the situation. He offered to remake the burrito but I had lost my appetite. Paid for my soda left the server a nice tip for her service. My first and last experience here. I will not be returning.

Taco wasn’t terrible but ingredients was definitely on the shorter end asked for sour cream and avocado on a few of the tacos and never received. Taco turned out to be more of a salad and the beans were watery. price was exponentially higher than anticipated roughly 5 plus dollars per taco we only ordered tacos (18) to be exact our bill was over a $100 There are a lot of good Mexican restaurants in Plainfield too wisely.

Will never order from this place again. Forgot to give delivery driver my nachos and cebollitas. Then when our food arrived it was all dumped over. They didn’t care about forgetting to give the driver the rest of my order and said I can come get. They should have offered to bring the rest of the food to us.

Tortilla soup is an absolute go to!! Burritos are HUGE and those cinnamon dessert tortilla chips are a reliable nice touch. Staff is always friendly and it’s extremely convenient to shop at Peter Rubi while waiting for the order to be ready…just sayin!

The food was equally as excellent at fair prices. Margaritas were flavorful. We had chillie relleno and chicken enchiladas. So, so, flavorful and ingredients tasted fresh. Complementary chips and salsa were good.
Atmosphere was pretty cool with great ambient music. Tuesday through Thursdays are 1/2 price margaritas.
