I recently visited Wayback Burgers, and it was an awesome experience from start to finish. The burgers were cooked perfectly — juicy, flavorful, and freshly made with quality ingredients. The fries were crispy and golden, and the milkshake was thick and creamy, just the way it should be!
The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome right away. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had that classic burger joint vibe. You can tell they take pride in what they do.
Definitely one of the best burger places around — I’ll be coming back soon!

I don’t mind this place at all. It’s another fast-food chain, but I feel like it’s somewhat healthier/fresh ingredients than your standard McDonalds. The burgers are juicy and cooked medium. Onion rings, not too much flavor, but it’s cooked with a nice crisp. The restaurant is decent in size and there’s room if you want to eat there. The parking lot isn’t huge, but there’s enough for the establishment. Minimal interaction with the staff, but they were efficient, and the store itself seemed clean. I needed a burger fix, and this place helped.

Tonight I was one of only two customers, in a store with two employees.
My dine-in burger and fries took 23 minutes.
The “signature” Burger had the incorrect ingredients, really no flavor, and the bottom bun was soaked in grease.

I generally don’t leave reviews but I stopped in on my lunch break and tried the Steakhouse Burger with cheese curds. I LOVED it!!!! The curds were fried and nice and crunchy. The burger was cooked well, nice and juicy and the onion rings really added a nice pop in my mouth. I was originally a little worried about time being on my lunch break and about 3 people ahead of me, but only took about 7 minutes from ordering to completion. THANK YOU!!! Definitely will be back.

My first time this particular location. Only one other customer in store at lunch time. I had a burger, it was tasty. Yes it takes a bit of time but that is to be expected when you get a freshly made burger. I would definitely return.

This is our 2nd visit in row and checked other food items they got to offer. Loved the coffee mocha and chicken BLT . They customized our order as our preferences such chicken made crispy. Chicken tenders were crispy and the batter it fired was tasty! Our food was served quickly and liked the fact they hand over the drinks first so that we enjoy waiting for food!! Staff was friendly !

My father was just racially profiled at this establishment. We would never recommend a person of color come to this establishment if they do not wish to be hassled. We have been in Meriden for 30 years and never have we had an issue to this level. We are APPALLED at the treatment he received as a paying customer here.

Nothing special but a long wait after ordering. The (Rodeo) burger was ok but nothing out of the ordinary. The fries definitely needed to be seasoned (I don’t think they had anything on them). The shake was OK but if anything a little lumpy (the straw constantly was blocked).
Main issue was that it took close to 30 minutes for the order to come out after ordering.
