Amazing experience! Great sandwiches, but also my wife loves potato salad and I don’t because of past trauma that I can’t get into right now… But the potato salad here is really good! I recommend this location if you love sandwiches. If you don’t, then I recommend making your own sandwich at home. Or maybe a steak.
I also felt very welcome. I’ve been there twice now and both times I felt like they were happy to see me unlike other McPlaces where they seem mad that I was in there to make them work.

Can’t say enough good things about this location! Great personalized service, fresh bread, expertly made sandwich! And let’s not forget the Jalapeno Chips that I wish were sold in gallon-size bags! The owner of this Jimmy John’s was on hand to say hello as I entered the shop and what I noticed was he was behind the counter, apron on, hair secured (hey, I was in the food industry for many years… I notice these things) gloves on, working side-by-side with the other sandwich artists! (maybe not the correct name, but hey, my sandwich was BEAUTIFUL, like a work of art) I ordered the Caprese Salami Pesto sandwich (of course I tweaked it a bit, no onions, extra balsamic vinegar glaze, etc.) It was really delicious. I am always looking for something a bit different than the typical ham sandwich and this fit the bill. I LOVE the big mozzarella cheese medallions, where you can actually taste the cheese, and oooh yes the slow-roasted tomatoes! TOO GOOD! Okay, thats it. I’m on my way for another one today! See ya there!!

What the heck kind of garbage is this! So ridiculous! No cheese, the meat doesn’t even cover the whole sandwich. How hard is it to make a sandwich, honestly.

The food hit the spot for a sandwich. Not the best I’ve had, but it’s up there in quality. I like that you can customize anything and the only additional cost is if you add more meat or cheese. They are super fast at making sandwiches. We order our food and in one minute, we had 3 sandwiches and they all were made precisely how we ordered them. This location near the Ajo Way Costco in Tucson is wonderful! I’ve been to many Jimmy Johns across AZ, and this one beats the rest in friendly customer service, speed in getting our food and accuracy in meeting our order requests. The guy stopped what he was doing, came to the register and greeted us the minute we walked in. We were in and out in less than 3 minutes, which is super convenient when you’re in a hurry and have short lunch breaks. Not all JJ’s locations are as great.
I’m specifically talking about the Tempe Marketplace Jimmy John’s location and the Jimmy John’s on Country Club and Baseline locations. They are terrible! Those locations should be shut down or hire better staff. They close early, run out of ingredients in the middle of the day and they will make you wait until they are done with what they are doing or continue with the conversation they are having with other employees (5+ minutes) before they acknowledge or help you.

So much for freaky fast.
These employees are beyond slow. Ordered 2 sandwiches at the drive thru and waited for over 15 minutes, while watching the same staff member go into the back and change his apron multiple times and start counting cookies in cellophane. The first red flag was the that the fact that the employee needed 5 minutes before I could order (I was the only one in the drive thru and no one was inside) the second was that the employee was opening the window and took my CC with the same gloves he was preparing food with. Get with the program folks, let’s be responsible and cleanly adults. The coworkers were useless as well. After waiting for over 15 minutes for 2 simple sandwiches I asked to cancel and refund my order. This almost made these low IQ individuals head explode from confusion and the girl expressed she “does not know how to cancel and refund an order.” Uneducated and untrained slow staff. Corporate should revoke the ownership of this location. The bank will be returning my money.

Our whole family loves Jimmy John’s in Casa Grande. Their food is great, and the staff are friendly. Olivia is really good! She always remembers our favorite sandwiches. How often do you see that anymore? Keep up the good work!!
