Little Africa Cuisine, Thank you for your hospitality and delicious soul warming food. ❤️
Including a photo of the current menu!
We got the deluxe combo and that came with a drink, soup and dinner for one (even though the main courses are all shared on one platter.
The lentil soup is again so subtle but so flavorful. In total there were ten different items served as the main course alongside the bread. Each had their own flavor profile, from a bit spicy, tangy, garlicky, a bit sweet, and refreshing. The closet flavor comparison would be Indian, but very distant in its own.
A must try! And it’s all vegan!
From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a kind and welcoming woman. We ordered the combo for two, lentil soup, and guava juice. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My mom was blown away by the lentil soup—even without any meat, it was incredibly satisfying.
Surprisingly, even my stepdad loved it so much that he ordered a second soup to go, along with extra bread and guava juice.
Amazing hospitality and food! I’ll definitely be coming back.
The first thing they always bring out is bowls of water to wash your hands before eating, as this is very much finger food! I always bring a friend and always get the group platter. All of the salads are delicious, and I LOVE the injera bread. Teff bread is also available for an up charge.
I always get the hot tea- it’s spiced and sweet- super delicious and I’ve never had anything like it before. It is lightly caffeinated, in case you’re trying to stay away from that.
The decorations are very much Ethiopian, and there’s a tea service set up in the far corner of the restaurant, although I’ve never actually seen it used, so it might just be for display, but it really adds to the authentic African experience.
The staff is always so kind and nice. The booths are comfortable. I’ve never had to wait any time I’ve visited, but it’s also never been empty.
Make sure to bring cash, as they do not take cc’s .
It should not be white. It should be tan/brown. Doesn’t have the right sour flavor either.
